My mind was foggy, I felt warm sticky blood oozing down my leg. Cold, I was feeling insanely cold. That wasn't good. For some reason all my lessons in medical care flew out the window. My mind went blank I put my hands over wound only one thought echoed through my head. Heal.I felt a pull in my gut and I looked down to see water being dragged from the air into a circular blade of water.

Heal. It started glowing. Heal. It seemed to radiate the thought. The bitter freezing cold in my leg was replaced with a sharp white hot pain that seared through my entire being. My eyes snapped open I looked towards the wound in my leg all that was left was a thin white scar. I brushed my fingers across the scar, I flinch it was still tender. Go figure.

I looked up to see a battle raging between Simon, Terrin, and Alexandria. They fought in a mesmerizing dance. It was a sight to behold. The way the moved in sync as if to a silent song. Their magic seemed to be like extensions of their bodies. They weaved in and out beautifully the shadows ripping apart the light. I desperately wished to join their viscous dance. I didn't care what kind of monster that made me. I wanted to tear apart and destroy. I wanted to fight.

Standing I felt a wave of darkness sending me back on my ass. I looked up to see Terrin mouthing 'this is our fight' I sigh feeling excluded, as childish as that sounds. My mind raced wishing yearning to join as Simon released a wave of dark energy so powerful I could feel it rip through my soul even though it was't directed towards me. "Listen to Terrin princess this isn't a fight for fae to join" Simon smiled a taunting grin.

He knew I wanted to fight so bad that every cell in my body ached. But this, this wasn't my fight to fight, it wasn't my dance to dance. This was a dance of shadows and darkness. So even though I felt useless and side lined, I stood back and let the shadows decide their own fate. That decision, though, didn't stop me from walking over to one of the stone walls and slamming my fist into the bricks so hard that some of the stone fell around my feet.

I pulled my fist back for round two, but I felt someone's hand wrap around bicep. Leo pulled me away from the wall. "Taking down this castle won't help anyone" he said. I huffed a breathe and once again turned towards the battle. Alexandria made a dive for Simon as Terrin threw a bast of dark energy his way. Simon, as if sensing their moves he reached down and pulled Alexandria up to sheild himself.

As the dark energy made cantact with her a scream tore from my lungs. The sound that came from my mouth was so strong that you could visually see the sound wave as it crashed against the wall making the castle shake. The fighting stopped and all eyes went towards me as the building started crumbling. "What did I say about taking down this castle?" Leo asked as he seized hold of my wrist and we all made a break for the front entrance.

When we had finally made it out of the castle Simon turned and starred as the east side of the castle crumbled away. Using the distraction as best as we could our little group raced off into the shadowy forest. We ran and ran until we all were about to collapse from exhaustion. No one talked much only murmurs among the group and no one even dared to look in my direction.

The silence gnawed away at me even as everyone fell asleep I was still left with the cold unending silence. I couldn't help but wonder how badly I had scarred everyone else, and if they realized that I was even more scarred than they were.
