The small group looked towards the younger Tohsaka, everyone looking at her as she tried to find the words. "Look I'm going to be honest with you, the Grail is not what it seems. It seems like some major wish granting device but it only wants to bring destruction. It was a wish granting device at one point however at some point in the last few Grail Wars it became corrupted."

Silence hung in the air for a few moments before Kiritsugu spoke. "In other words, this entire war is pointless."

"Yes," she nodded her head slightly. "It's one of the reasons why I'm trying to destroy the Grail. Hopefully if I do, these wars will never happen again. I know this is the last thing you would want to hear, but it is the truth." The older man glared at his hands as he thought about what the girl had said. "You might not believe me, although I wanted to warn you just in case." Silence once again went through the room, making the girl slightly nervous on what the man would say.

"Okay...please tell me someone is going to break the silence," Allura stated after a few minutes. Annoyance was clear in her tone as she spoke.

"Look, as I stated beforeI know this is difficult to believe but I also know that Irisviel is holding the Grail. If there was some way that we could get it out of her instead of there being a sacrifice of some sort than I immediately would. There isn't anything that I know of though, I can try to find something to help. There could be a book or something that was in my house."

"Master, do you really think it's wise to go back there? Archer and Kotomine could still be scouting the area."

The red-haired girl turned to Lancer and shook her head, "If it comes down to it than Allura and you could hold them off until we find a way to escape. Kotomine's strong but he's no match for a Servant."

"And Archer?"

"Allura has held him off once before, I'm sure she could do it again," Lancer wanted to oppose the idea even more but couldn't. "Then, I guess it's settled. I'll go to my house and try to find anything that could stop Irisviel from turning into the Grail and keep her alive. You guys can think of what you want to do in the meantime." Jean stood up from where she was sitting.

"Someone should go with you two, just in case you run into Archer," Erwin said before turning to his Master. "Why don't you go with them?"

"We'll be fine," Jean responded, getting ready to go out.

"No, you're our ally now, we can't have Archer or Kotomine capture you and use you against us."

"Fine, let's go," Jean waved towards the slightly younger blue-haired man. "I'm starting to wonder who is the real Master around here..." she mumbled before walking out. Lancer dematerialised and the man followed her out. "I don't believe I ever got your name."

"My name's Edward."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Jean."

The two walked towards the Tohsaka house, talking along the way and only stopping when they were right in front of the estate. The trio walked into the building and into the magic study. "If there is a spell that would save Irisviel, it would be in here," Jean stated walking to the bookshelves. "Lancer, could we get your help?" The Servant materialised and started to look around as well. He didn't know much about magic and spells, but he knew enough to find a spell that would be similar to what they were looking for.

They looked around for a while, only finding about three books that had a spell that could be used. "You would think that there would be a spell that would detach and object from someone," Edward commented breaking the silence.

"There is. It's just the Grail is not just a regular object. We'd have to tweak the spells with another to hopefully get the incantation we want," Jean replied, her eyes scanning over a spell book.
