It was the night of the Yule ball. I had an hour and a half to get ready. Me and Draco were meeting at the entrance of the great Hall. We were also meeting up with the boys and there dates.
I had my dress hanging on the closet while I'm sitting on the bed with my head in my hands.
"I can't believe I'm going to this ball"
I say grabbing my dress and start to change
After I change into my dress I walk to the big length mirror.
"You look pretty" I see Danny from the door way from the reflection
"Thanks" I say turning around and facing him
"Can you zip me up?" I ask
"Sure" he said walking towards me
"Are you nervous?" I ask
"Yeah" he said backing away
"I bet you and?" I say and ask
"Molly" he says
"You and Molly we be really happy" I say smiling
"How are you not nervous!" Danny squealed
"I'm going to the Yule ball, with my best friend sense first year, and crush" I playfully glare at Danny
"Well don't be to to nervous, but I will leave you to your stuff" he kisses the top of me head and leaves.
I put some light makeup on and grab my shoes. I grab some black sneakers, cause we don't my feet hurting.
I walk out of the common room and off to the great hall. As I'm to walk down the stairs I see Draco and the boys with there dates. I hide behind the wall and. Take big breaths. I pop my head out to see Danny catch my glance.
He winks at me and motions his head to come down. As I'm about to walk down the stairs I see Hermione also hiding behind the wall. We make eye contact and we both laugh.
"You can first" she mouths
"Ok, good luck" I mouth back and she smiles
I walk down the stairs and see the group turn around and see me. I make eye contact with Draco who's smiling and blushing. I make it down the stairs and he walks over and grabs my hand.
"Wow, just wow Y/n" he says laughing and kissing my hand
"You look handsome" I smile and blush
"And you look beautiful" his smile grows more
We hook arms and walk over to the group. Theo smirks and looks us up and down , Danny and Blaise look at another and smirk at the two of us.
"You all look good" I say
"And we could say the same for you Ms. Y/n" They all say
I look around the group to see all the boys and me smiling, but all the girls looking at me in disgust.
Except Luna, Blaises date.
"Wow, Luna you look very beautiful" I say
"Well thank you Y/n I could say the same for you" she says very kindly
"Well should probably go in" Draco said wrapping his arm around my waist
"Yeah, we should probably" I say turning and seeing everyone walking in.
As I'm about to walk in i remember I'm a champion.
I pull Draco's arm off my waist and drag him out of the great hall.
"What's the mater?" He asks
"I'm a champion, we're have to dance with the others and there dates" I say looking around for Harry
"Who are you looking for?" He asks
"Harry" I say seeing Harry and the others
"Oh there over there" Draco points
We walk over to the group and smile at everyone. I awkwardly stand next to Cedric and his date. Draco puts his arm around my waist again for comfort.
I smile around the circle of boys and girls and they all smile back.
"So I heard we're supposed to dance first and only us?" I ask
"Yeah we're just waiting for McGonagall" Cedric smiles
"Great" I say
