Nagising ako dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumama sa mukha ko, kainis namang kurtina to, mapalitan nga ng color black.
Wala na akong nagawa kundi ang bumangon, I stepped outside the room after doing my morning routine.
I was going down the stairs when I heard people talking.
"She's been missing for over a year, Zafiro and there's a chance that the Mafia will be exposed if ever her family tries to dig hard and then finds her here, we can't let that happen, I can't let it happen, I will not let a mere girl ruin what I built" someone said.
Habang pababa si Kiera ay unti-unting nalilinawan ang kaniyang pandinig sa usapin ng mga taong nasa salas.
Sumilip si Kiera sa salas nang siya ay makatungtong sa huling baitang ng hagdanan.
Nakita niya ang dalawang lalaking nakaupo sa couch na magkaharap habang ang ilang tauhan ay nasa likod ng dalawang lalaki.
"Padre please let me handle this, she's mine and I will not give her to anyone even her family, we have kids already padre and I will not let my kids be motherless" Lord Ace growled as he heard his fathers words, he can't let it happen, hindi niya hahayaang mawala sa paningin niya ang babae.
'Why are they talking about me?'
Nakaharap si Lord Ace sa lalaking sa tantya ko ay nasa late forties, naka-uniform pa ang matanda ng pangchief na uniporme ng NYPD, talagang wala pala akong kawala sa lalaking ito pati awtoridad hawak niya.

Just like an obedient dog I sat on the couch facing him.
"Denver Flinn" he said out of the blue, napatingala na lamang ako at tiningnan siya sa mata.
"Sounds familiar?" he asked.
"H-he's my hus-husband" I stuttered.
"He has been looking for you, he reported seeing you here in New york saying that you have been missing for over one year"
"What's in it with me?" I asked.
"Well sweetie he is digging up infos about you and I'm afraid our organization will be exposed once he arranged the puzzle and trace you here, I can't let our organization get exposed because of you...so it's either you'll go back to your husband or I'll eliminate your kids" he said in a threatning tone.
"You can't do this, mister, Lord Ace will not let you lay your filthy hands to our children" I said bravely.
"Oh trust me sweetie, I can do whatever I want to do and there's no one to stop me even.my.son, so what can you say? you will leave this place or get your children killed?"
Kiera was taken a back after hearing this man's words. How could he let his grandchildren be killed? no wonder mag-ama nga sila parehong demonyo.

I was unwinding at the balcony when I heard footsteps coming towards me, lumingon ako at nakita ang kambal kong naglalakad palapit sa akin at nung lingunin ko nga sila ay tumakbo sila pabalik sana sa pinanggalingan nila nang pigilan ko sila.
"Wait" I said.
They stopped midway at dahan dahang lumingon sa akin ang kambal.
"Come to mommy" I said, I kneeled and open my arms wide.
They looked at each other with shookt faces and they giggled, nagmadali silang lumapit sa akin at niyakap ako.
"You're not angry, Mommy?" they asked in unison.
"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to scare you last time" I said and then they hugged me tighter.
"It's ok Mommy, Dad said that you just have problems that's why you were angry last time" said Maxi.
Kumalas ako sa yakap at tinitigan ang kambal.
"Daddy said that?" I asked and they just nodded.
"Listen, babies I want you guys to understand that no matter what I say or do, Mommy loves you very very much ok?" I said looking at them in their beautiful hazel eyes.
Tumango-tango lang sila ang then they asked.
"You love daddy too?" Rheed asked that made me stunned, anong isasagot ko? ayokong mapaisip sila o kaya'y magtaka kung paano sila nabuo, ayokong malaman nila ang karahasan ng kanilang ama, ayokong katakutan nila ang ama nila because he will be the one that will be there for them.
Nakapagdesisyun na ako, I have to go back to Denver with the help of Lord Ace's father, Mr. Leandro Baltimore
Ayokong masaktan ang mga anak ko kaya titiisin ko ang magiging trato sa akin ng tadhana.
Tatanggapin ko kung ano pa man ang maaaring mangyari sa akin sa aking hinaharap, kung masasaktan man ako sa desisyun ko ay tatanggapin ko para sa mga anak ko ang gagawin ko kahit na hindi ko na isipin ang sarili ko.
Bago man ako bumalik kay Denver at susulitin ko muna ang pagkakataong kapiling ko ang mga anak ko.
"Mommy" pukaw nila sa akin.
"You love our daddy right? why don't you kiss?" they both asked.
My throat went dry, I don't know what to say, I slowly nodded at them as a response.
"See daddy? Mommy loves you" sabi ni Maxi habang nakatingin sa likod ko ang kambal.
'Don't tell me, Lord Ace is right back at me'
"Kiera" called someone and I'm pretty sure I know who it was.
