Chapter 13

While you were working on your song Jack walked up to you. He whispered since the other boys were in the room.
Jack: "Does anyone else in here know why you don't like talking about your dad?"
Mads: "Jack stop prying! I'll tell you guys when I'm ready I don't know why you have to keep mentioning it!"
You got mad and got up and left the room.
Daniels POV:
Dani: "Jack what did you do"
Jack: "I was just asking questions.."
Dani: "Well obviously you asked to many. What did you even ask her about?"
Jack: "Earlier we were talking about her family and when I brought up her dad she got a little distant so I asked if anyone in this room knew why she was so distant about it."
Dani: "I'll check on her. Jack don't you dare think about coming upstairs right now."
Daniel went up to your room and knocked.
Madelyns POV:
You heard a knock on your door.
Mads: "Who is it."
Dani: "Dani.."
Mads: "Come in." You locked your phone and layed it on the bed.
Dani: "Sorry..Jack can get overwhelming with the questions.."
Mads:"Its not even that Dani. I asked him earlier to stop talking about it but he keeps bringing it up."
Dani: "Yeah he told me what he said."
Mads: "Why does he want to be in my business so much?"
Dani: "He just wants to get to know you so he can be there for you. We all do."
Mads: "That doesn't change the fact I hate to bring up my dad."
Dani: "Well none of the boys are gonna pry it out of you. Jack is just impatient."
Mads: "Its just hard to talk about and I don't feel like breaking down in front of you guys. Im an ugly cryer."
Dani: "Is anyone really a pretty cryer?"
Mads: "Not really I guess.."
Dani: "Just know we are here for you. Even if Jack seems impatient, hes pretty chill."
Mads: "Thanks Dani.."
You hugged Daniel.
Mads: "Can you tell the boys I'm done for the night.. I don't want to work on the song tonight anymore."
Dani: "Yeah of course. Do you need anything?"
Mads: "No thanks."
He walked out of the room and you realized it was now 8:45. You just layed in bed until you got a text from Jack.

i mean stop. Idk if Corbyn told you but I do
have anger issues. And as a girl its harder.

And you left him on read. You really werent in the mood to talk to Jack right now. Then Corbyn called.
Mads: "Hey Bean hows New York?"
Corbyn: "Pretty good, hows it going in L.A?"
Mads: "Fine"
Corbyn: "Oh lord who did what already?"
Mads: "Jack kept asking about dad and I told him to stop but he kept asking. So, I got mad and he apologized but I kinda left him on read."
Corbyn: "Please don't murder any of them. They don't know about your anger issues."
Mads: "Jack does now.."
Corbyn: "Did we punch someone already..?"
Mads: "No I just yelled at him through text and told him I had them."
Corbyn: "Well if he keeps talking I give you full permission to punch him. I haven't told them about dad either."
Mads: "Okay bean, Im gonna go to bed, have fun with Christina and tell her I said hi."
Christina: "HI MADDSSS" you heard in the background.
Mads: "Oh hi christina. Love you Corb." You said smiling.
Corbyn: "Bye mads love you."
And you hung up. You layed down and it took hours.. but you finally fell asleep.
