Chapter 21

By the time you got home, you sat and watched movies with Daniel. You fell asleep for a while until you crawled out of Daniel's bed quickly, but quietly, ran into his bathroom, closed the door and locked it, and you barely made it to the toilet, you started puking. All you ate today was a smoothie before you went to the gym, and chipotle after. But eating twice a day was normal for you, you never really ate breakfast. Daniel must have heard you because he knocked on the door.
It was almost 1 in the morning and you and Daniel layed down around 8, watching a movie until 10:30.
Dani: "Mads..? You okay?"
Mads: "Yeah I'm fine... go back to bed."
Dani: "Mads I can't go back to bed knowing your in there sick." He leaned against the door frame.
You got up long enough to unlock the door, but immediately sat back down, vomiting once more. Daniel opened the door and pulled your hair back. He went to your room and found a hair tie and pulled your hair into a low ponytail lightly.
He grabbed a wash cloth out of his cabinet and soaked it in warm water, rubbing your back.
Dani: "Its okay babe. What do you think made you sick?"
Mads: "I'm not sure... I've never had this reaction to chipotle or a smoothie... maybe I just got a stomach bug?"
Daniel sat down next to you, and continued rubbing your back, next thing you knew, everything was black.
Daniel's POV:
I was sitting next to Madelyn rubbing her back, trying to comfort her when all of a sudden, her eyes shut and she fell back into my arms.
Daniel: "Mads? Mads are you okay?"
I shook her a little.
She passed out on top of me. I grabbed the rag and wiped her face quickly, and tried waking her up.
Daniel: "Madelyn? Babe?"
I shook her a little more aggressively.
Daniel: "MADELYN? CORBYN!! SOMEONE COME HERE!
Corbyn ran into my room because his room was next to mine so he heard me.
Corbyn: "Daniel why are you screaming?"
Daniel: "MAYBE BECAUSE YOUR SISTER JUST PASSED OUT!"
Corbyn walked towards the bathroom door.
Corbyn: "WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED?"
Daniel: "I don't know sh-she was in here and she was puking then she well.. fainted."
Corbyn: "Crap Daniel. She always faints when she pukes, it's like she has a fear of it. Get a cold rag."
I grabbed a cold rag off the counter and layed it across her forehead... and... nothing.
Corbyn: "God dangit Madelyn."
Zach came running in, shocker he can sleep through a tornado.
Zach: "Daniel is eveything okay man?"
Daniel: "Does it look okay" I gestured to Madelyn on my lap.
Zach: "What happened??"
Corbyn walked into his room and came back with this stick. He snapped it and stuck it under her nose, and just like that she woke up.
Corbyn: "Works like a charm everytime. Now, Mads what have you eaten today?"
Madelyns POV:
When I came to, I was in Daniels arms and I saw Corbyn holding one of those snapstick things he always has incase I faint. Not sure what they are called though...
Corbyn: "Mads what have you eaten today?"
Mads: "I had a smoothie before we left and chipotle for dinner...?"
Corbyn: "Madelyn did it have yogurt?"
Mads: "Im not sure I just ordered it.."
Corbyn: "Welp theres your problem. Your allergic to yogurt child, are you forgetting this?"
Mads: "Well I know but-"
Corbyn: "Just watch the yogurt content, k?"
You nodded and just looked at Daniel, his eyes still scared of what just happened. His face was red, it looked like he panicked a lot.
Corbyn: "Go to bed you two."
Corbyn went to walk away and stopped at the door.
Corbyn: "Oh, and by the way.. now that I know you sleep together Im watching you two. No Seavey babies. Im serious."
He walked away and you and Daniel just looked at each other and smiled.
Zach was standing there.
Zach: "Mads are you okay?"
Mads: "Yeah Zach, go to bed Its okay."
He left but had a worried expression, slowly fading as he walked away.
Dani: "You okay? That was a lot over yogurt.."
Madelyn: "Just how my body reacts.. thats why I always make my smoothies or order them with no yogurt.. I thought this one didn't have it but apparently it did. Im fine now though."
You got up to the sink and went into your bathroom and brushed your teeth.
You came back in and layed back down facing away from Daniel. He went to put his arm around you but you pushed him off.
Mads: "Not right now babe my stomach still hurts a little."
He understood and flipped over, his bare back touching your back.
You couldn't tell with Zach. He was worried, but any normal person would be if someone fainted. But he almost looked...hurt. Like that little sparkle in his eyes he had the first couple weeks.. wasn't there anymore. His eye color was faded.. and instead of his usual bubbly smile he had, ever since you and Daniel got together, they weren't there. His smiles weren't genuine, they almost seemed..fake. Was Zach... Jealous? Wait no, he couldn't be.. But he did like you... You have to ask. You fell asleep after awhile of drowning in your thoughts. Zach needed to spit out some answers. And fast.
