Chapter 31

You woke up turned away from Daniel. You must have gotte hot in the middle of the night. You looked behind you to see Daniel still sleeping. He was peaceful. It reminded you that you had the best boyfriend in the world.
You slowly and quietly got out of your bed trying not to wake Daniel. He was a light sleeper, so trying to do things while he was sleeping wasn't easy. You went into your closet and changed into this:

and you realized it was only 7am. You decided to curl your hair because you had time. You walked into your bathroom and curled your hair in there so you could be quieter. When you finished and went to do your makeup, you worked slowly so you could remain quiet with Daniel sleeping behind you. By the time you were done it was around 8:15. You walked over next to Daniel and started running your hand up and down his arm. His eyes opened and he looked up.
Daniel: "Wait how are you ready? Usually you wake me up.." He had that morning rasp that made your heart melt.
Mads: "Well.. I got up early, and I was really quiet to not wake you up."
Daniel: "Oh-"
You sat with Daniel for about 10 minutes before he decided to get out of bed. He walked into your bathroom to look in the mirror, and accidentally hit your curling iron. He breathed deep through his teeth.
Daniel: "MMMHhhh that hurts... yep that hurts a little."
You walked into the door way.
Mads: "What happened?"
Daniel: "Hit the curling iron-"
Mads: "Oh you big baby. You know how many times Ive burned my finger prints literally off?"
Daniel raised an eyebrow.
Mads: "Im actually not kidding. 400 degrees, I could have stolen something because I wouldn't have fingerprints to leave as evidence."
You walked back to your desk, sitting down to work on school a little bit. You had to finish at least one class today. You sat there for about 30 minutes doing work, until Daniel came back in dressed, and ready for the day.
You smelled smoke.
Mads: "Am I going crazy or do I smell smoke-"
Daniel looked at you and his eyes widened. You got up and sprinted downstairs, Daniel following you. You got to the end of the stairs to see Jack burning food.
Mads: "JACK I THOUGHT THE HOUSE WAS ON FIRE AND YOUR JUST BURNING BACON!"
Jack: "Sorry.. I was trying to be nice and make everyone breakfast but Im failing.."
Mads: "GOD YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK MOVE."
You pushed him out of the way taking the bacon off the stove and putting uncooked bacon in it, not letting Jack finish.
Mads: "Also very offensive. Who would have the audacity to burn the PRECIOUS BACON"
He laughed a little. You finished breakfast and slowly one by one the boys walked down.
Corbyn: "OOO BACCONNN"
Mads: "YEAH NOODLE HEAD HERE BURNED SOME"
Corbyn gasped and grabbed his chest.
Corbyn: "HOW. DARE YOU?"
Jack just shrugged throwing his hands up.
When you finished breakfast you started doing the dishes, but Daniel insisted on doing them. No matter how many time you said you had it, Daniel said he wanted to do them. A boy.. doing dishes.. did he hit his head on the curling iron instead of his arm?
Corbyn: "Mads let him do it and go work on school for pete sake."
Mads: "FINE BUT DANIEL SO HELP ME-"
Daniel: "I WON'T LEAVE ANYTHING ON THEM"
Mads: "You better not.."
Last time Daniel did dishes, there was still food spots on half of the dishes.
You walked upstairs, expecting Daniel to come in behind you after a little bit, but never did. You looked over at your phone realizing he texted you.

Corbyn won't let me come up until your done.. good wuck 😘

You put your phone down and dialed back into your English work. After about 3 hours of being alone, you finished all your English work. You started your math, but at question 2, you were already confused.

Mads: "COOOORRRRBYYNN"
Corbyn: "WAHHHT" He was yelling from the living room.
Mads: "COME HITHER"
You heard him running up the stairs and he opened you door.
Corbyn: "Ive been summoned"
Mads: "HeLp"
Corbyn smiled.
Corbyn: "MOVE OVER I WANNA MATH"
You giggled.
He started explaining things. You pretended like you understood by nodding and writing down what he told you too, but really you knew absolutely nothing. You pertained none of the information he spat out. Something about X equaling Y but Y is an unknown variable.. So you have to find the sample of a triangle divided by something.. It was all confusing but after about 2 hours of Corbyn walking you through it, you sumbitted the last assignment.
Corbyn: "Do you get it now?"
Mads: "Uhhhhh yeah-"
Corbyn smiled but you know he mentally facepalmed, because he knew exactly what you meant.
He walked out of your room, you following him, happy you were all caught up.
You sat down on the couch next to Daniel as he put his arm around you.
Corbyn: "Uhm Madelyn.."
Mads: "What?"
Corbyn: "We uhh... have to go on your soon."
Mads: "Can I go?"
Corbyn: "As of right now... no.."
You sighed and cuddled into Daniel. You were going to ask Corbyn if there was anyway you could meet them at one of the stops, But for now, you were focused on watching a movie with the boys. You couldn't worry about that until after nationals. Nationals was the most important thing right now. You had dance later today, but it was only 1. You had about an hour before you had to get ready. You ate lunch and hung out with the boys, until Corbyn drove you to dance because Daniel had a phone call and you didn't want to drive. Now was your chance to ask if you could meet him somewhere on tour.
