Chapter 19

You walked closer and realized it was a poster. And it had the cover of your song on it. Your hand covered your mouth, but underneath it was hanging open. Your eyes widended. When you turned around and the boys were standing there. All of them.
Daniel: "After you recorded it.. we finished it and put it together. Now is your chance to show Corbyn."
Corbyn smiled.
You looked at all of them amazed, and still shocked this was happening. You took a deep breath, hiding the nerves.
You nodded at Daniel and he handed you his phone to press play on the demo.
As it finished, Corbyn looked at you, jaw no longer attached to his face.
Corbyn: "SIS THAT WAS YOU?"
The rest of the boys stood there smiling.
Mads: "In the studio it was. I mean I couldn't think it would change to a different person in the making would it?"
Corbyn smiled and ran over and hugged you. You almost fell over but he leaned back pulling your feet off the ground.
Corbyn finally set your down and held your wrists.
Corbyn: "Mads I am so proud of you. Not only do you have dance but you did this?"
Mads: "Im glad you liked it. My palms were sweating the entire time."
Corbyn: "Madelyn why would you be nervous? I'm your brother."
Mads: "I mean you are kinda.. famous and all.." You gestured to him.
Corbyn: "Still I am your brother sis! Im proud! And I know for a fact dad would be too."
You smiled, and your phone rang.
Mads: "Speaking of dance.. I have to take this."
It was your instructor. You were really confused why this couldn't wait until practice. You walked away from the boys and answered it.
Mads: "Hey Miss Sierra!"
Sierra: "Hey Madelyn! Just wanted to call and tell you a couple things, I actually had a family emergency so practice is cancelled today."
Mads: "Oh! Im sorry, I hope everything is okay!"
Sierra: "Anyways, I was going to tell you this at practice but that didn't go as planned. Madelyn we have picked our three soloists for nationals. And you are one of them! Congradulations Madelyn! Your studio back home tought you well!"
Mads: "Oh my gosh, thank you!"
You hung up and walked back to the boys. You pretended something bad happened to mess with them a little bit.
Daniel: "Everything okay babe?"
Corbyn: "WOAH SLOW YOUR ROLL SORRY MADS HOLD UP A MINUTE- BABE??" Corbyn said sternly but smiling.
Daniel started giggling.
Corbyn: "About dang time yall did something cute."
Daniel: "Wait your not mad?"
Corbyn: "NO NOW THAT I KNOW I CAN TRUST YOU TWO- I get to tease you like the boys do." He smirked.
Daniel: "Anways... Whats wrong Mads?"
Mads: "I- I... I just got.."
Corbyn: "What? What is everything okay??"
Mads: "I just got a call saying.."
Zach: "GOOD LORD WOMAN SPIT IT OUT"
Mads: "SAYING I GOT A SOLO AT NATIONALS!!" You jumped up and down once or twice.
Daniel engulfed you in a hug that almost knocked you over. He was smiling. You kissed him once or twice through smiles, not caring the boys were standing there watching. He let go of your waist to let the other boys hug you.
Corbyn hugged you once Daniel let go.
Corbyn: "AHHHH MY BABY SIS IS GROWING UP"
Daniel: "BABE THATS AMAZING!"
All the boys switched off giving you hugs. But for some reason Zach held on extra long.
Corbyn: "Madelyn I hope you know, even after the fights we have had, I am SO proud of you. You are a strong dancer, AND NOW A SINGER"
You laughed and the boys gave a group hug. Afterwards you all grabbed some skates and went skating in the rink you had forgot you were standing in.
Right before you stepped on to the wooden floor to skate you yelled out to the boys.
Mads: "AND I DON'T HAVE DANCE TODAY SO LETS PARTYY"
After a couple hours of skating and eating pizza you and Daniel sent the boys home.
Daniel: "God how did I land a girl like you?"
Mads: "What do you mean?" You blushed a little.
Daniel: "Talented, Strong, Gorgeous inside and out."
Mads: "I don't know about all that.. You guys just haven't seen me that angry yet.
Daniel: "Im sure I can handle it."
Mads: "Corbyn barely can.. and I love your little noodle arms.. but hun they ain't stopping me at any given point in time."
Daniel just laughed. You spent the rest of the night talking and giggling, even on the way home. Once you got hom you went upstairs into your bathroom and changed, took your makeup off, contacts out, brushed your teeth, put your hair up, and put your glasses on.
Daniel came in and peeked his head in the door way before coming all the way into your bathroom. He walked up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist.
Daniels POV:
I peeked in to see if she was dressed and she was, she was just taking off her makeup. She put her glasses on and watched my walk behind her in the mirror. We stood there for a moment. I wanted to say those 8 letters. The ones that really mattered. But we said we would slow down. Forget it. Im doing it. This girl needs to know.
Daniel: "Mads?"
Mads: "Hm?"
Daniel: "I Love You."
Madelyns POV:
Daniel: "I Love You."
Your face went bright red. You made eye contact in the mirror with him.
Mads: "I love you too Dani." You turned around and kissed him.
You grabbed his wrist and dragged him to your bed, slowly crawling in under the blankets.
Mads: "Boy you better not think about going back to your room. This is your room tonight." You smiled and Daniel giggled.
God his chuckles were so cute. The way his smile lit up when you made him laugh.
He crawled in behind you, and you flipped over and burried your head into his chest.
Daniel: "Night babe."
You smiled.
Mads: "Night baby."
Zachs POV:
I heard Daniel and Madelyn get home around midnight. I was proud of her. I peeked into her doorway, seeing her cuddling up to Daniel, sleeping.
I was upset, but Daniel made her happy. This is how it had to be. My feelings were irrelevent at this givin time. And probably would be, as long as they dated. As much as it hurt, I was happy for them. Happy for Daniel. Happy for Madelyn. But, I didn't feel it was going to be easy getting her off my mind. I love her. She'll just.. never know it.
