Chapter 30

You and Daniel decided to go hangout outside and just talk about everything with nationals, and Alaina. You went outside with Daniel and the group chat went off.

  JUST ASKING

You and Daniel rolled your eyes.
Daniel: "Hes not smart is he?"
Mads: "Hes booksmart just not- wait"
Daniel: "What?"
Mads: "What's the date...?"
Daniel: "The 12th why?"
You jumped up grabbing your phone about to go inside.
Mads: "THE END OF THE SEMESTER IS IN THREE DAYS AND I HAVENT DONE SCHOOL FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS"
Daniel: "CORBYN IS GOING TO KILL YOU GO DO SCHOOL"
You forgot all about school for the past two weeks. You did online school since you left Virginia, so that you could stay through the same school. And online was quicker each day. You ran up to your room, Daniel following you. You did the classes one at a time for the past two weeks.
After about 4 hours, you were done with all your history work. Then you started science, and it was about 6pm, so the boys called you and Daniel down. They just assumed you were watching movies, so they didn't ask why you were quiet for five hours.
Corbyn: "What are we doing for food?"
Mads: "I can make something.. I'm a little behind on school so I was gonna work on that a little more but its fine."
Corbyn: "Wait what did you say?"
You blurted it out not realizing what you had said until Corbyn made a comment.
Mads: "Uh.. just a little behind on school that's all.."
Corbyn: "Mads how behind..."
You cringed as you said it, you couldn't lie to him.
Mads: "2 weeks...?"
Corbyn: "WHAT MADELYN GO DO SCHOOL WE WILL ORDER SOMETHING"
Mads: "Corbyn it's fine I have three more days to catch up."
Corbyn: "Madelyn go do school. If you get bad grades mom is going to want you back home. And until you get caught up, Daniel stay out of her room. No distractions. Go."
Mads: "Corbyn its fine."
Corbyn: "Madelyn."
You sighed and listened. You knew he only said it because he didn't want you to have to go back home. You had so many opportunities in LA and if you went back home, you would lose them. And you wouldn't have Daniel. Daniel wanted to go upstairs and hang out, but Corbyn wouldn't let him. When Corbyn called you down to eat you walked down the stairs with your glasses on. You took your contacts out because looking at the computer for so long gave you a headache.
Corbyn: "How much did you get done?"
Mads: "I only have English and Math left. I'm probably gonna need your help with Math though."
Corbyn: "That's fine. Please keep track of your school. I don't want mom to make you go home because your falling behind or getting bad grades."
Mads: "I know. I forgot about it."
Corbyn slid your chipotle bowl and you started eating it. Daniel walked up behind you, hugging you and setting his chin in the crook of your neck.
Daniel: "Hows it going up there?"
Mads: "Torturous."
Daniel: "I would keep you company but Corbs won't let me."
Corbyn: "She doesn't need her boyfriend up there right now Dani. She will loose focus."
Daniel: "Why because I'm just soooooo hot?"
Mads: "Don't flatter yourself. I settled." You smirked turning around and pecking his lips, and turned back around to eat.
Corbyn laughed at your sarcastic joke and kept eating.
Daniel let go of you and was sitting on the other side of the island eating. You and Zach were standing on the inside, while the rest sat eating on the outside of the island. When you finished you grabbed your phone and went to go upstairs.
Corbyn: "Madelyn.."
You followed his gaze, and he was looking at your phone.
Mads: "Oh come on I finished two classes already!"
Corbyn: "Fine. Daniel you can go upstairs with her."
Daniel: "AHAAAA YES"
Corbyn chuckled a little at his reaction.
You walked upstairs and layed in bed until Daniel walked in. Before you realized what was happening, Daniel had launched himself next to you, his legs landing on yours.
You laughed at his stupidity.
Daniel: "All things of life set aside.. when we releasing that song of yours?" He poked your side a couple times, making you giggle.
Daniels POV
I poked her, and she giggled. That giggle always gets me. It's so sweet. It's like a toddler giggle inside of a gorgeous teenage girl, and it's amazing.
Mads: "I'm not sure. When should we?"
Daniel: "After nationals, so you can focus on dance. How about the weekend after?"
Mads: "Should I post something about it?"
Daniel: "Uhhhh duh- how about some of the pictures you took the other day?"
Madelyns POV
You opened you phone, looking at pictures, trying to choose which to post. When you finally found one, you posted it, without even telling the boys.

Soon enough the boys were walking in asking if you meant to post that.. then getting excited when you said yes. At this point it was around 8, so you went to your bathroom and showered and when you walked out you had on some spandex and one of Daniel's tshirts. Daniel went to his room and changed, coming back in sweats.
He snuggled up next to you, your cheek buried into his bare chest. You fell asleep holding hands after a long, stressful day. Being that time of the month made it that much worse.
