Chapter 67

"Lee Ruo, you are hereby expelled and forbidden to ever set foot in this high school again."

Pure silence. The accused did not say a single word, it looked like he was finally left speechless and lost all willpower he had to defend himself.

"You may all leave and proceed to class now. Mr. Lee, please empty your locker and gather all your material, make sure to leave nothing behind as your presence in this building will no longer be welcome," Mr. Han spoke, dismissing them with a wave of his hand.

"Mr. Kim, I apologize for doubting you and your liability, you have experienced more pain than most students here could imagine and for that, you deserve complete redemption. I encourage you to report your assailor to the police and see a therapist if you ever feel the events of your past triggering you. I am sorry you had to experience that," he told Taehyung before the pink-haired boy left the office.

Not being able to produce any words but simply nodding with a little bow, the boy left the office and trodded along the hallway as he tried to process everything that had just happened.
Lee Ruo had been expelled. Jungkook had been permitted to re-enter. He even had enough evidence to report his pathetic excuse of an ex-boyfriend to the police. Ruo was eighteen and therefore could literally go to jail. However, did he really want to go this harsh on him?
Maybe he should give him one last chance to apologize sincerely and beg him for mercy...

He changed his mind within a second.

"You fucking bitch," he heard someone grunt right next to him all of a sudden. "Just because you couldn't keep your little mouth shut I lost everything! Mr. Han is gonna call my parents and tell them everything, they'll probably ground me until the end of fucking high school!"
The air left the boy's lungs as the other stepped closer and closer and grabbed his collar harshly.

"No, stop! Let me go, bastard! Maybe you shouldn't have forced yourself on me if you didn't want to get punished for it! You can't just walk around expecting everyone to follow your orders and you can't expect the world to spin around the way you want it to! You're a literal criminal, you deserve to go to prison! I hope your parents disown you," he exclaimed, punching the other's chest in attempt to fight him off but failing to do so and feeling said other grip on his collar tightening.

"The way you fucking piss me off. Why did I ever date something like you? You're so damn pathetic and over-dramatic, can't believe I used to find you hot. Go to hell, piece of shit." Taehyung started to panic as the auburn-haired boy raised his hand and balled his fist, probably about to punch him. Jimin and BamBam had already left the hallway, did he really have to fight Lee Ruo before they could get here to help fight him off?

"No-- get... Off!," he shouted as he tried to force himself out of the other's grip and push his arm away, however, feeling himself gradually grow weaker.
And that moment, he suddenly felt someone push Ruo off him unannounced and punch and kick and his abdomen harshly so he fell on the ground immediatepy, gasping in surprise and then mewling in pain. He really had not seen that coming.

Bewildered, Taehyung just stared at the intruder in surprise, his eyes turning to the size of saucers as he realized who was standing right in front of him and rolling up his sleeves as he glared on Lee Ruo who was still wincing in pain.
"J-Jungkook! What are you doing here?!," he exclaimed in shock.

"Did you seriously think I would not be there on the day you get your well-deserved justice? Yoongi called me, told me you weren't in class and Ruo was called to the principal's office. I think he was worried about you, but I would've come anyways. I don't care if I'm allowed to even be here," the ravenette spoke casually, his angry demeanour immediately changing into a soft one as he gazed at the older boy and pulled him closer to hug him.
