"Umm... So... I guess I paid my debt now?"

Still smiling, Jungkook tilted his head and shook it slightly.
"What if I've changed my terms?"
Taehyung's nervous face turned into an annoyed one.

"You can't just do that!," he protested, pulling his chair away from the other boy. He scoffed as he saw him pout, or more like, attempting to pout cutely.

"Oh come on, I just want another kiss. On my other cheek. When we get out. Pleeease?" The older furrowed his eyebrows and stopped pulling his chair. "And why would you want that? It's not like we're dating or anything."

Oh Taehyung, you can be such an idiot sometimes. A cute idiot, but an idiot nevertheless. Can't you see how much I like you? Jesus Christ. Jungkook shook his head in disbelief.

To not make things extremely awkward since he didn't want to screw up this newly-built friendship, Jungkook tried to think of a convenient excuse. "It's just what friends do, you know? To get closer?"

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure all friends do this? I've never seen you kiss Min Yoongi's or Kim Namjoon's cheeks." The ravenette internally cringed at the sudden thought of having to kiss Yoongi's cheeks corrupting his brain.

"Well... that's different. Yoongi doesn't like affection that much. Not from me. And Namjoon is just... awkward about skinship. So, please?" He looked at Taehyung with attempted puppy eyes, making the latter sigh.

"I'll think about it. However, you're acting a bit strange."
Internally, Jungkook was celebrating. He had another chance of getting kissed by his beloved Taehyung. The first time he most definetely wasn't prepared and wasn't even able to savour the moment properly. He definetely wanted another go.

Oh no. Was he being desperate? He really did not want to come off as desperate.

"Why are you staring off into the distance like that? Aren't you gonna eat your fries? I can eat them for you if you want," Taehyung suggested, his eyes on the ravenette's unfinished French fries as he noticed how unconcentrated the latter was.

"Oh. Yes, I'll eat them." Jungkook fell out of his little daze and grabbed a handful of fries, sliding them into his mouth one by one.
And then, he saw Taehyung still looking at his fries with a pout on his face and suddenly started smiling.

"You're still hungry, huh? What happened to gaining too much weight?" The brunette lifted his gaze and started showing a smile aswell.
"It's not my fault, I just get really hungry in the mornings!," he whined.

"We can get ice cream after this, if you want." The ravenette definetely did not miss how Taehyung's eyes lit up immediately.
"Oh my god, yes!," he squealed, making the younger boy coo internally.

Jungkook ate his left-over fries as quickly as he could, smiling at the other as he finished. "Okay, I'm done. Let's go, huh? Wait, are there even any ice cream shops nearby? I don't know this town that well yet."

To his delight, Taehyung nodded. "Yes, there is. Jiminie and me go there a lot when it's summer," he spoke. And Jungkook couldn't help but feel a little uncanny as he heard the word 'Jiminie'. And he couldn't believe himself for it.

As the two of them stood up and walked towards the exit, the ravenette held the door open and gestured Taehyung to leave first with a little bow.
"After you, milady," he asseverated playfully, making the flustered older boy slap his shoulder out of embarrassment.

"Jerk," he muttered, walking out with Jungkook hot on his heels while snickering.
"Sooo... about that kiss?," he asked hopefully, his doe eyes turning big and round.
