As the sun set and the colour of the sky changed into beautiful shades of orange, pink and red, Taehyung laid on his bed, his legs crossed over one another and his phone gently lying in his palms.
As he looked outside, he could see how shiny the clouds were, all of a sudden. For a moment, it even seemed as if they were brighter than the sun itself, bringing attention to themselves with a strong shade of pink.
The brunette was just casually strolling around. On his phone, of course. He just checked his notifications on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube, not to forget, his private messages aswell. Being a regular teenager, it took him quite a while.
When he was done, he was eminently bored. He really didn't feel like doing anything. Hoseok was probably busy with dance practise and Jimin was probably taking a nap or watching some TV. Or doing his homework.
So, while thinking of what he could do, he checked out his phone's gallery. Mostly selfies, his photos with Hoseok and Jimin and then, photos of himself. He suddenly felt like posting an Instagram picture.
So, he quickly selected the nicest picture he could find and went ahead to upload it:

Not thinking about anything specifically, he just kept scrolling around, liking random pictures and videos, cracking a smile every now and then. Today was one of those days where he was just bored and didn't feel like doing anything except for hanging around on his phone, his mood was pretty glum.
And all of a sudden, he got a notification.
He let out a short gasp when he saw who it was, suddenly feeling himself get extremely attentive.

As soon as he read Jungkook's direct message, Taehyung subconsciously smiled. He would never admit it out loud but in all honesty, he was kind of glad to have befriended the younger boy and enjoyed their interactions.

He tried to sound as relaxed and unbothered as possible yet he couldn't deny the fact that his heart may or may not have fluttered a bit as he saw that Jungkook had called him beautiful.
Then again, his heart usually fluttered when receiving compliments. Nothing special at all. Also, friends hyping each other up was something completely normal!

The brunette gasped. "You...! We're supposed to be friends, why is he asking me for a kiss? Such a flirt... Do friends kiss each other's cheeks? Ugh, I don't know! And I hate breaking promises," he mumbled to himself.
