Hiraeth

After some time we finished and I ask Cate if she still has some time as wich she responds yes. "if you want we could go back to my place and walk around. I don't think you want your neighbors to see me with you" I ask. It's funny but sad because there is some truth in it and we both know it "I'm sorry" she replies shyly, thinking exactly the same way. "but yes I would love to."

As we arrive in front of my place we start walking and I show her around. I feel like there is something... Something she would like to say or ask because she only looks at me without saying much. "Cate? If there is something you wanna say please say it because I'm starting to think that you are about to dislike me. I know I talk a lot and" "I absolutely don't" she cuts in my phrase. "I think it's hard to dislike you, you're really one to like or I should say admire." "then what is making you so quiet... Or are you just more of a quiet person where I aperently totally got you wrong" I reply.

"I... Would like to ask you something but I don't wanna ruin this beautiful day I'm having with you. It's just working up here" she points at her head.

"We are here to get to know each other aren't we? So please ask away. If worst comes I'll just tell you that I don't wanna respond. But with time maybe later you know? Ask." I warmly smile at her putting my hand on her cheek. I give her a kiss to reassure her. Kissing her is like tasting heaven. As soft as the clouds and as calming as looking up on a sunny day.
I place my other hand around her waist and pull her closer as the kiss deepens. Her arms are now around my neck as I lik over her lips. She slightly opens her mouth and our tongues collide. The world around us is in slow motion and gets dark pink. I realize I'm falling in love and I start to belive in love at first sight.

Eventhough I know I'm gonna remember this moment for ever I slowly end the kiss and Cate immediately whispers "don't stop". I smirk at her as we lean on each other. "Maybe we should get home it's getting windy" I reply and we head back to my place.

As we sit on the sofa with our drinks I tell her to ask me what she wants to know.
"This, what's happening, really is... Extraordinary. I've never felt like this and by that I mean no one has ever made me feel like this. So if I am breaking this moment with my question, that is pretty personal, than please tell me to stop. I don't want to make you uncomfortable. " she spitts out rathe rapidly.
"Omg Cate you are scaring me now. Just say it." I laughingly say.

"Would you mind telling me what happend to your parents? "

My movements stop and the atmosphere gets heavy and actic.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked... See I ruined the moment" I hear Cate say. After a pause I swiftly look at her and then passt her. "No it's fine... I mean I want this to work since I really like you and if that's what you want to know..." I feel my eyes filling with tears.
