Chapter Eleven

; Goodbye brother

A week later.

Harper and Glenn were in the bathroom, they were giving Alexis a bath in the sink together after she threw up everywhere.

"Don't get it in her eyes Glenn." Harper whispered as Glenn started washing the baby's head.

"I won't I promise." Glenn whispered as he messaged the baby's head.

"I'm just making sure." She said as she kissed his cheek.

"I know baby, I know." He whispered as he took a wet rag and started gently rubbing off the soap with it.

"Your so good with her." She whispered smiling at them.

"So are you, uh, Rick and Shane are taking Randall out today." Glenn said making the smile on Harper's face drop.

"Okay, why did you have to ruin the mood though? I was happy." Harper groaned, Glenn looked over at her and pecked her lips quickly. "Well, now I'm happy." She said smiling.

"My kisses always make you happy." Glenn said rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, because there from you. I wouldn't want them to be from anyone else." Harper said smiling.

"Anyone?" Glenn asked and she smirked.

"I mean, Rick's lips look soft soo I wouldn't mind if he kissed me." She said, Glenn turned to look at her with a frown on his face.

"He's married." Glenn said anger definitely showing in his eyes.

"I was joking Glenn.. Are you really that insecure?" She asked wrapping her arms around his waist.

"I- uh- N-no." He stuttered, Harper tightened her arms around him.

"I love you and only you Glenn. Trust me, I wouldn't want anyone else." She whispered almost in tears. "You have to know that I only want you, your the only person in the whole world that I love more than myself." She said her voice cracking.

Glenn slowly turned around with Alexis in his arms, he was smiling with tears in his eyes. "H-hand me the towel please, she's probably freezing." Glenn said making Harper frown.

She turned around and grabbed the towel, handing it to Glenn before walking out of the bathroom.

Haroer walked in her room and to the pile of baby clothes she had on the ground, she picked out a onezi and a little head band.

"Here's he clothes I'll be down stairs." She said dropping the clothes on the bed and walking out.

"Harper- wait." Glenn said and she stopped by the stairs. "Come here." He said, she turned around and walked in the room.

"What?" She asked looking up at him while he put the clothes on the little girl.

"I love you so much, I really do. And I didn't know what to say in the bathroom- I kind of froze, so I'm saying this and you better listen. You are the most amazing person ever, and I only want you, I hope you know that. I'm only insecure because I'm just a nerd who delivered pizza's, that's all I did for a living. And when shit hit and I found you, I finally felt like I could love myself. I don't know what I would do without you- I'd probably be dead. I love you more than words can say." Glenn said all in one breath, at the end Alexis was all dressed, Glenn turned around and sat her in the crib before walking over to Harper. "I love you." He whispered.
