Chapter Fifteen
; Prison

Winter was harsh, Lori was about 8 to 9 months into her pregnancy, its taken a toll on all of them. Whenever Harper has food she gives it to Lori or Carl, they have plenty of formula for the baby's.

Alexis is almost eleven months, sometimes when they come across small stores everyone gets the baby food puffs for her.

Franki is so protective of Alexis, Harper and Glenn, that when she sees or hears walkers she tugs on a pant leg and whines, Alexis keeps a extra pocket knife in his harness just incase she needs to use a weapon and doesn't have one.

Right now they were all in one house, Carl found dog food that he opened for Franki, since she hasn't eaten in two days, everyone else hasn't eaten in about five days, tonight they were gonna have owl.

T-dog whistled and pointed outside, Franki started whining and bouncing up and down. Harper hooked the leash on her and grabbed Alexis and put her in the carrier around her stomach, they all ran out of the house and to their cars.

Harper put Franki in than the baby next to Franki, who curled around the baby. She than hopped in the driver side and made sure Glenn was with her before driving away.

They pulled over in the middle of the road, Glenn, Rick, T-dog and Hershel were looking at a map and debating on were to go.

Carl and Harper were keeping watch along with Franki who stood infront of them with her tail up and ready to punch at anyone who came at them.

"Daryl and I are going hunting." Rick called out, everyone nodded and watched as they left into the woods.

Lori was feeding Alexis, Glenn and Harper were sitting on the SUV keeping watch while Carl played fetch with Franki.

All of a sudden Franki started barking like crazy and growling. Harper and Glenn hopped off the car and saw two walkers.

"Franki come." Carl said, Franki ran to him and watched.

Glenn took on one and Harper took on the other one, both of them were covered in blood and panting.

"Good girl Franki." Harper said smiling, she than walked around to the trunk of the SUV and grabbed the baby wipes.

"Let me help." Glenn said and gently started cleaning her with the wipes, Harper than did the same for him, she made sure to kiss him after wards.

"Guys, get packed and let's go." Daryl said, Harper and Glenn were in charge of driving the cars to the front of the prison. Than everyone started to climb through a hole Rick made.

Glenn than sealed it with a red wire they found, they quietly made it to the gate.

"We need to kill off the walkers, than close that gate." Rick said, Harper looked around.

"Alright, I'll go you guys cover me." Glenn said, Harper shook her head.

"No its a suicide run." Harper said, Glenn sighed and looked at her.

"I'm the fastest." Glenn said, Harper shook her head with a smile.

"I'm the fastest on my feet, I'll be in and out and close the gate." Harper said, everyone but Glenn agreed.

"Glenn, Maggie, Beth go to the fence make as much noise as possible and pop them through the fence. Carl and Hershel, go up in that guard tower and shoot as many as you can without hitting Harper, Daryl and Carol go up in that guard tower take your time we don't have alot of bullets." Rick explained, Harper turned and looked at Glenn who looked pissed that she was going.

"I'll be safe." She said and kissed him quickly before having Lori open the gate.

Harper started killing walkers left and right, a gunshot rang off and almost hit her, Harper looked up and saw Carol.

"Sorry!" Carol yelled and went back to shooting.

Harper went back to running and killing, one behind her that she didn't see grabbed her shoulder, a arrow went through it head.

She made it to the gate and closed it, Than she ran in the guard tower and killed the two walkers in there before shutting the door and running up the stairs.

She started hitting the walkers from up in the guard tower, the last one went down with a arrow in it head.

Harper ran back down and ran out into the field laughing and smiling, she was picked up from behind and started getting swung around.

"Glenn!" She laughed, Glenn set her down and turned her to face him.

Glenn brought his lips to hers, Harper's hands went up to his hair while his cupped her face, she smiled in the kiss which made him smile.

"I love you." Glenn said breathlessly, Harper smiled at him.

"I love you more." She whispered kissing him again.

"Mm, impossible." Glenn said and she laughed.

At night, Glenn and Harper where laying in the grass with Franki laying over their feet, Beth and Maggie had Alexis.

"Do you think we can make this prison work?" Harper asked Glenn, Glenn looked to be in thought before nodding.

"I think we can, do you?" He asked, Harper hesitated than nodded.

"I want it to, for Alex, Lori's baby and Carl, the kids need to stop being on the run. The winter was horrible." Harper said shaking her head.

"I know baby, it will work." Glenn whispered than kissed her. "Goodnight love." He whispered.

"Goodnight handsome." She whispered back before curling into his side and falling asleep.
