Thirty one

Glenn's Pov

As I watch Harper walk away I break even more, my heart feels like it just got stabbed over and over again.

Harper was the only one I've ever loved, and I should've believed her when she said I was the only one for her.

And now I've lost her. The one person who truly loved me. And I don't know how to get her back.

I slowly start to walk back to the group, when I get there Harper is standing there with a blank look on her face.

She's holding Alexis and one hand is on her stomach, I look over at Rick and nod.

"Alright, let's go." Rick says, everyone starts walking again at a slow pace.

"Daddy!" I hear a cry, I glance back to see Alexis crying and trying to reach me.

"I know baby, shh." Harper whispers with tears in her eyes, she than glances up and catches me staring.

"Let me see her." I say, taking Alexis from Harper, Harper nods and walks away.

"Daddy." Alexis giggles, I smile sadly and look down at her.

"Hi baby! Daddy's missed you so much." I whisper to her, I start to feel the tears fall down my cheeks once again. "We're gonna be okay." I whisper, she hides her face in my neck.

"Drink the damn water Harp." Maggie says, I look over to see Harper glare at Maggie.

"Don't call me that." She growls, Maggie sighs and tries again.

"Drink the water please, if not for me than for the baby, Alexis and Glenn." Maggie whispers, Harper glances back at me and grabs the water.

She takes a few drinks before giving it back to Maggie, I feel relived now that she has drank some water.

"Mommy's gonna get better, I know she will." I whisper to Alexis, even though she's asleep.

I know Harper is going through the lost of her dad and younger sister, and I know I was wrong for thinking that she was cheating on me.

My eyes travel down to her stomach, I'ts not big but you can tell, I smile lightly with tears in my eyes again, I roll my eyes and huff.

"You're crying because she's pregnant and left you. It's not gonna go away." Noah says coming up next to me, I sigh and nod.

"I know." I say, patting Alexis's back, Noah squeezes my arm and walks forward more.

"You guys are gonna get back together." Carl says coming up besides me, I nod with a small smile.

"Hopefully." I whisper, he looks up at me.

"You will. Nothing will stop her from getting back with you, you two are in love." Carl explains, I nod and look down at him.

"Thanks kid." I say, he smiles and nods.

I carefully wallkback over to Harper once we've stopped, I set Alexis down in the grass next to her, and she still sleeps.

"We need to talk Harp." I whisper, she sighs and looks over at me. "I told you, the day we got together that it has always been you, and that won't change. I will give you space, but please keep the ring on. I will give you as much space as needed, but I love you Harper, and hell with letting something that we have during this, go to waste. I'm sorry for accusing you of cheating on me with Abraham, even though I know he's with Rosita. I guess it was me being jealous that you've known him long before I've known you. And I want to be in you're life, and that baby's life. And nothings gonna stop me, because I love both of you. I love our little family, Alexis, you and the baby are the best thing that has ever happened to me in my whole life. So I'm not giving up. Okay?" At the end of my speech, Harper is in tears and she's looking at the ground.

"Okay." She whispers, I smile and grab her hand before sliding the ring back on, I than kiss her hand and pick up Alexis.

Four large dogs come out of no where and start growling, Sasha pulls out her gun and shoots all of them, Franki whines and lays down.

Rick stands up and starts to gather sticks, along with everyone else, I glance down at Franki, feeling bad that she has to eat dog to survive..

Rick and Daryl start the fire as Abraham starts to skin the dogs, Harper holds a hand over her mouth before running across the street and throwing up.

I give the baby to Maggie and follow her, I can feel everyone's eyes on us as I pull back Harper's hair.

"Thanks." She whispers, I nod and help her stand back up.

"You have to eat it Harper." I tell her, she quickly shakes her head with a small frown.

"I'm not eating somebody's pet. No way." She says, I frown and cup her face.

"You will for me and the baby's." I say, she sighs and looks at the skinned dogs again.

"Fine." She says, Daryl starts to cook the dogs as Harper and I sit back down.

The first pieces go to Carl, Harper, Alexis and the dog. Franki smells it before she starts to dig in.

Harper's face twitches up in disgust as she takes a bite of the meat, I watch her as she eats all three pieces before drinking some water.

"Thanks." She mumbles, Daryl nods and continues cooking.

Harper grabs a bowel from her bag and pours some water in for Franki, Frankie immediately starts to drink the water.

After all of us has had some food, it's now dark, I lay down next to Harper with Alexis in the middle of us.

"Goodnight, I love you." I whisper, she smiles lightly at me.

"I love you." She whispers, before passing out.

I'm thankful she still loves me, I don't know what I would've done if it was actually over.
