Chapter Sixteen
; Home sweet home

The next morning, Glenn, Harper, Maggie, Rick, T-dog and Daryl were gonna go kill the rest of the walkers in the gate.

Harper walked up to Carol who was gosling Alexis and gave her baby a little kiss on the head before patting Franki who sat at Carols feet.

"Ready?" Hershel asked, Rick nodded and Harper got put her machete and stood in between Glenn and Daryl, once the gate opened they started moving, staying in the circle and killing the walkers.

T-dog broke the circle to get a shield, Harper went after him to protect him.

"Harper!" Glenn yelled but she kept killing off the walkers that came at T-dog. "Harper get you ass back here!" He yelled louder.

"Fine!" She replied and ran back next to him.

"Don't you ever fucking do that again." He whispered harshly at her.

"I will do what I want your not my parent!" She yelled, a walker with a mask on came at her, she lifted the mask and shoved the knife up into its skull.

She didn't realize that everyone was against the wall, the only thing she could hear was a ringing sound, she killed and killed until she got to the gate, than she fell on the floor.

"Harper!" Glenn yelled, he ran to her and started checking her for scratches.

"I-its on my shoulder Glenn, I can feel it." She whispered in tears, Glenn sat her up and saw the scratch on her.

"Fuck!" Glenn yelled and threw his pipe at the wall.

Franki came running to Harper who was crying so hard she was shaking and losing breath, Franki sat across from her and started whining.

"Hi baby." She whispered her voice cracking slightly. "I'm okay." She said and kissed the dogs head.

"Your not okay! Your fucking scratched!" Glenn screamed, the walkers in the gate started getting louder and pushing against the gate.

"I'm sorry Glenn." Harper whispered standing up.

"No! You were supposed to stay with us! Now- I- No!" He yelled backing away from her. "If you stayed with us, I wouldn't be losing you." He whispered.

"I'm sorry Glenn, I really am." She whispered, Carol, Carl, Beth and Lori walked in.

Carol and Carl went with Rick, T-dog and Daryl to clear out a block while the rest watched in tears as their friends fought.

"D-daddy i-m sorry." Harper said walking to Hershel, Hershel wrapped his arms around her and let her cry in his chest.

"Don't touch me Maggie!" Glenn snapped backing away. "D-don't- leave me alone." He whispered shaking his head.

"Come on Harper, let's go clean it up." Hershel whispered in tears, Harper nodded and everyone followed them put to the grass where the water was.

"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry." She kept repeating, Hershel shook his head.

"Its not your fault." He whispered.

"Yes it is, I should've stayed with them." Harper said, as soon as the water hit her back she cried out in agony.

"Harper, it's not a scratch, you got cut." Hershel whispered as he continued cleaning out the wound.

"W-what?" Harper stuttered looking at Glenn, who hasn't moved from the spot they left him in.

He had his face in his hands and his while body was shaking, his sobs could be heard from a mile away.

"Your gonna live." Hershel repeated, Harper jumped up and hugged her dad.

Than she started running at Glenn and hugged him tightly, Glenn seemed to cry every more.

"Glenn." She whispered taking his face in her hands. "Glenn look at me please." She whispered.

"No, no I can't lose you Harper." He whispered his voice cracking.

"Glenn, I'm not dying. I cut myself, my dad cleaned it out. I'm fine." She whispered, Glenn looked up at her to see her smiling. "I'm not going anywhere." She whispered.

"Oh god." Glenn said and picked her up. "Oh thank the lord." She started laughing, he set her down and grabbed the back of her neck and placed his lips on hers.

Harper's hands went up to his hair, gently tugging at it, Harper felt Glenn smile in the kiss which made her smile.

"I love you." Glenn whispered placing his forehead on hers.

"I love you more." She whispered pecking him.

"Not possible." He whispered bring his lips back to hers.

Not even words could explain how happy Glenn was, so he just kept kissing her, touching her making sure she's still there.

"I'm not going anywhere Glenn." Harper said once they pulled apart. "I promise I'm not leaving unless you ask me to." She whispered than pulled back. "Who has my baby?" She asked looking around, her eyes landed on Beth.

"Here." Beth said handing her Alexis, Harper smiled and kissed the baby's head.

"Guys come on, it's secure." Carl said, everyone started bringing their stuff in.

Harper and Glenn picked up their bags and the baby bag, they than grabbed the blanket and made their way inside.

"I love you so much Harper." Glenn whispered as they walked in a cell that had on big bed.

"I love you too Glenn, and I'm sorry." She whispered looking at him.

"Its okay, as long as you don't die and your alive it's okay." Glenn said smiling, his eyes were still red from crying.

"Franki! Frank!" Harper called, the dog came running in, Harper than shut the cell door and layed Alexis in a box full of clothes.

"Lets go to bed, I'm tired." Harper whispered laying on the bed.

Glenn started covering her up, he than layed next to her and she cradled into him, he rubbed small circles on her back making her fall asleep faster.
