Thirty-two

The next day, we are all exhausted and tired, Harper looks the most tired, especially when we stop because of some water bottles.

'From a friend' it read, Harper got really shook up about it and began looking around.

I stayed close to her and Alexis, I hardly payed attention to what Rick and Daryk were saying to Eugene about drinking the water.

Than I felt a cold drop of water, I looked up and saw it started to rain, I smiled and laughed.

I tilted my head back to catch some water in my mouth, I than looked over at Harper to see her looking at the ground, the same with Maggie.

I walked over to her and tilted her chin back before lightly kissing her, as I went to pull back she quickly kissed me.

I smiled and feel the stares of people, I pull back to let her breathe to see her looking up at me with a smile.

"I missed you." She whispered, I smiled and tucked her wet hair behind her ear and smiled.

"I missed you." I whisper back, I look up when I hear a whistle and see Rick standing there.

Everyone else was going off into the woods, Harper and I quickly followed behind them.

Harper grabs my hand and we quickly run through the trees, she has a bright smile on her face, and ut makes me smile, I love seeing her happy.

She stops and bends over, I quickly put my hand on her back thinking she's about to throw up.

"I'm okay." She mutters, I nod and take her hand, when we get to a barn everyone stops.

Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Carol and I go in first, Harper wanted to but since she's pregnant I couldn't risk it.

I Check in every nook and craney making sure uts safe for Harper, Alexis and our unborn baby.

I whistle and everyone starts to pike in, Harper is carrying a sleeping Alexis on her hip, she glances up and smiles at me.

I walk over to her and grab her hand before walking into the room of the barn, there's a mattress already on the ground, Harper lays Alexis down and smiles up at me.

"I love you." I whisper, Harper smiles and kisses me softly.

"I love you." She whispers back, I smile and pull her on my lap, she lays her head on my shoulder and closes her eyes.

Her breathing evens out, her chest slowly falling up and down, that's how I know she's asleep.

I look up and see Rick smiling at me, through the door that I left open,  I smile back and close my eyes, getting ready for some sleep.

When I finally drift off, the last thing I hear is, "She's good for you Glenn." And I completely agree.

Glenn, wake up love." Harper whispers in my ear, I smile and roll over.

When I open my eyes I jump back, because she is literally right there. She laughs and kisses my noes, causing me to blush, God I'll never get used to having her kiss me.

"Good morning sleepy head." She mumbled with a smile, I'm happy that she now has a smile on her face.

"Good morning beautiful." I whisper, she smiles and I pull her chin in for a kiss.

I feel her smile in the kiss, I pull back and sit up with her in my arm, I look around and my eyes land on Michonne who is holding Alexis.

I get up and pull Harper up with me, she smiles and walks over to Michinne holding her hands out.

I walk over to Rick and sit by him, he starts talking about food and that we need to start looking for some water and food.

The barn doors open and Maggie and Sasha walk in, someone behind them comes out causing me to jump up.

"Guy's this is Aaron." Maggie says, everyone gets their weapons and points it at them.

Harper lays Alex down next to Judy and grabs her gun, she points it at him and slowly walks to me.

"I took his weapon and his bag. We met him outside he's by himself." Maggie says, Harper looks him up and down and glares.

"Hi." Aaron said, he looks over at Harper and sees her glare causing him to cower.

Judith started crying and Carl picked her up, Aaron looked at the babies and smiled, I cocked my gun causing him to look at me with wide eyes.

"You said he had a weapon?" Rick asks, Maggie steps forward and hands Rick a small pistol.

Rick checks how many bullets are in the chamber before putting it in his pants, he than looked at Aaron.

"There something you need?" Rick asked, Aaron swallowed hard.

"He has a camp nearby, he wants us to audition for membership." Sahsa explained, Harper scoffed by me making me crack a smile.

"Bullshit." She mumbled, Aaron looked at her and shook his head.

"I wish there was another word a. Audition makes it sound like we're some kind of dance troop. That's only on friday night's." Aaron chuckled, when no one else chuckled he continued explaining. "Um, it's not a camp it's a community. I think you all would make valuable additions but it's not my call. My job is to convince you all to follow me back home." Aaron said, Harper shook her head with a scoff.

"Like that doesn't sound off." Harper said, Aaron smiled.

"I know if I were you I wouldn't go either comment not until I knew exactly what I was getting then to. Sasha can you hand Rick my pack?" Aaron asked, Sahsa handed Rick a backpack. "Front pocket there was an envelope." Aaron told him, Rick crouched down and grabbed the envelope.

Harper crouched down next to him, I watched as Rick started going through pictures.

" There is no way I could convince you to come with me just by talking about our community. That's why about those, I apologize and vanced for the picture quality we just found a old camera store of last-" Aaron starts rambling but Daryl cuts him off.

"Nobody gives a shit." Daryl tells him, Harper looks at Daryl.

"Daryl! Be nice." She scolds, causing some of us to laugh knowing that Daryl had a soft spit for my wife.

"You're absolutely 100% right." Aaron said, giving Harper a small smile making my stomach twist in jealousy.

Rick and Harper started looking at the pictures again, the first picture was a picture with walls.

" That's the 1st picture I wanted to show you, because nothing I say about our community will matter unless you know you'll be safe. If you join us you will be. Each panel in that wall is a 15' high 12' wide slab of solid steel framed by cold rolled steel beams and a square tubing. Nothing alive or dead gets through that without R say so. Like I said security is obviously important Yet in fact there is only one more resource more critical to our community survival. The people." Aaron explained, Harper scoffed at that and stared at him.

"That's a load of shit." She mumbles, I chuckle and glance back at Aaron.

"Together we are strong. You can make us even stronger. The next picture, you'll see inside the gates-" Aaron starts again but is cut off by Rick punching him, Aaron falls to the floor with a thud.

"Rick Grimes!" Harper exclaims, Rick looks over at her and shrugs.
