Twenty eight

The next day Harper was sitting with Glenn getting ready to leave, Rosita was patching up Abraham's hand and Tara was sitting next to Eugene.

Harper was still creepy out by Eugene but Glenn told her to stay away from him, so she did.

"I'm gonna go out, look at the clothing store." Harper mumbled, before anyone could say anything she walked out of the library.

She walked across the street and to the clothing store, she had her hand on her gun just incase. When she got in a walker came at her, she grabbed her knife and stabbed it in the head.

She checked for another one but there was no more, she smiled and started going through the clothes.

She grabbed some for Glenn, Maggie, and Tara. She quickly changed into new bra and underwear, white button up shirt, and tied the front, and some ripped jeans, she grabbed a pair of boots and put them on before grabbing some shoes and underwear for Glenn.

When she turned around she screamed when she saw Glenn, he smiled at her and she glared at him.

"I got you some new clothes, change into them. And change your underwear." She said, she threw him a white T-shirt, some jeans, shoes and underwear.

"Thanks babe." Glenn said, Harper nodded and smiled.

She watched as he pulled his dirty shirt over his head, and slipped the new one on, next he took off his pants and underwear before grabbing the Grey boxers and putting them on, than his pants.

He walked over next to her and bent down, he grabbed a pair of socks before kissing her lightly. He put his socks on, than his shoes and smiled at her.

"How do I look?" He asked, Harper smiled and looked him over.

"Good as new." She replied, Glenn smiled and walked back over to her.

"Are those for Maggie?" He asked, Harper nodded.

"And Tara." She said, Glenn smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I also grabbed this little necklace for Beth." Harper said, she pulled out a horseshoe necklace and smiled at Glenn.

"She'll love it." Glenn whispered, Harper smiled and looked down.

"I hope she's okay." She mumbled, Glenn smiled and cupped her face.

"She's okay. She's strong." Glenn whispered, Harper nodded and kissed his cheek.

"Let's go before redhead leaves us." Harper said, she glanced down at Glenn's old clothes and frowned. "Why are your clothes all wet?" She asked, Glenn looked at her.

"Eugene sprayed us with the fire hose. He took down the walkers though." Goenn said, shrugging.

Harper shook her head and scrunched up her noes, Glenn frowned and wrapped his arm around her waist.

"I told him if I catch him being a peeping tom again, I'll kill him." Glenn whispered in her ear, sending chills down her back.

"Good." Harper said, Glenn smiled and they walked out together.

Once they made it to the fire truck Harper handed Tara and Maggie bra's underwear, a pair of leggings and white shirts.

"Thanks, Harp." Tara said, Harper nodded and watched as Abraham started the truck.

"Let's go!" He called, all of them piled in, squished together.

When they came to a stop Harper woke up, she looked around and got out of the fire truck.

The air around them smelt like rotten corpses, she scrunched up her nose and looked at Glenn.

"What's that smell?" She asks, Glenn shrugs.

"I don't know." He mutters, Maggie looks at them.

"What smell?" She asks, Abraham looks at her.

"Winds picking up you'll smell it soon." He says, Maggie makes a gagging noise.

"God, that's horrible." She says, Harper nods and runs to the side of the road.

She hunches over and throws up, Glenn comes up behind her and holds her hair out of the way.

"You okay?" He asks, Harper nods.

"Yeah, just that's disgusting." She said, Glenn laughed and walked with her to Abraham and the others.

"We don't turn around!" Abraham yelled, Harper stared at him.

"We can take a detore-" Harper started but Abraham yelled over her.

"No! We don't turn back or take detore's!" He yelled, Harper flinched and Glenn grabbed her arm.

"Don't yell at her." Glenn growled, then yelling started from everyone.

"I'm not a scientist!" Eugene suddenly yelled, Harper froze and stared at him.

"What do you mean? Yes you are, u've seen you do things." Rosita said, Eugene looked at her.

"I just know things." He mumbled, Rosita stared at him in disbelief.

"I- people have died to get you to Washington!" Rosita yelled, Eugene nodded.

"I know." He started naming off everyone's name, Harper stared at him before running behind a tree and throwing up.

She felt hands pull the hair away from her face, she turned to face Glenn who was frowning.

"It wasn't real." Harper whispered, she looked up at him. "We're gonna live in this hell forever." She mumbled, she walked away from Glenn and sat in the fire truck.

She numbly stared at everyone as they walked around Eugene who was knocked out on the floor, they than tried to talk to Abraham who was staring at the sky.

"Hey babe? We're gonna go look for water, okay?" Glenn's voice asked, Harper nodded and he leaned over. "I love you." He whispered, Harper smiled at him.

"I love you too Glenn. Be safe." She whispered, Glenn nodded and kissed her before walking back to the woods.

Harper hopped out and walked to Abraham. "Get the fuck up. You don't get to mope around, you need to help. So get the fuck up now, get up! Abraham get the fuck up!! You don't get to do this- you also need to help, go out there and look for water! Or food!" She yelled at him, Abe glared up at her.

"And what are you going to do?" He asked, Harper took a deep breath and grabbed his hand before putting it on her stomach.

"I'm gonna stay here. Because I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant." She whispered, Abe stared at her and nodded before getting up and stalking off into the woods the way the other's went.
