*Monroe's POV*

Charlie and I split up to go to our respective lockers. I'm not paying any attention to my surroundings but I snap my head up when I feel someone grab my arm. "What the-" I start and then I see who it is. "Cade what are you doing?"

He drags me into an empty classroom and shuts the door, pushing me up against it and before I can react his lips are on mine. My hands act on their own accord and tangle themselves in his hair. He bites down gently on my bottom lip, as he brings his hands down to the backs of my thighs and lifts me up to straddle his waist and pins me against the door with his hips. I can feel the bulge that forms in his pants through the thin material of my panties.

I move my hands down over the hard muscles on his chest and I feel one of his slip under my shirt. He moves from my lips and leans down to kiss the side of my neck and I automatically tilt my head slightly to give him better access.

As he's working his way down my neck and across my shoulder, I remember where we are and say, "Cade, we should stop," I say, but I make no move to push him away. He bites down on the soft spot right above my collar bone, causing a small moan to escape from my mouth. "You sure about that?" He looks me right in the eyes and I just say, "No."

With that, he kisses me again and he begins exploring my tongue with his. I bring my hands up under his shirt and wrap them around his back. His hips start to rock against me and the friction alone is enough to make heat pool in my core. I moan again and dig my fingers into his back. He smiles against my mouth. Just then, my phone starts ringing.

"Shit, that's probably Maddy and Charlie." I release my hold on his back and unwrap my legs from him. He's still pinning me against the door and says, "So?"

"They're probably worried about me. I should have been in the cafeteria like 10 minutes ago," I explain. He huffs in annoyance but drops his hands and takes a step back. I don't quite make it to the phone in time so I type out a quick message to the group chat: on my way now, see you in 2 mins. I straighten my clothing and quickly fix my ponytail. I look over to find Cade attempting to adjust his pants.

"So, I know it's not your thing, but at some point we should probably discuss whatever the fuck is going on here."

He nods in agreement and I say, "Just not right now because Charlie and Maddy will probably send a search party soon."

"After school?" He suggests. "Yeah sure, gimme your phone." He unlocks it then hands it to me so I can type in my number and then I hand it back. "Just text me when you're ready." I open the door and poke my head out to make sure nobody is in the hallway.

Once I'm sure it's empty I walk out, followed by Cade who says, "What, you don't wanna be seen with me? I'm offended," he says mockingly.

I stick my tongue out and say, "It's not you specifically. I've only been here a week and would rather not be known as the girl who hooks up with dudes in empty classrooms."

When we get to the bottom of the stairs he looks at me and says, "Well my locker is this way," and points in the opposite direction from mine. "Okay, I guess I'll see you in class then," I reply awkwardly. He nods and I just walk away.

As I'm putting my books in my locker, I remember my decision from earlier to not get involved with Cade. I guess that plan went right out the window of a certain second floor classroom. Looks like I have some serious re-evaluating to do. I sigh and head to the cafeteria. When I sit down, Maddy says, "She lives!"

"Yeah, sorry for making you wait," I offer no further explanation and pray they don't ask.

"So, did you figure out what to do about Cade?"

I feel my cheeks heat slightly and decide to focus on mixing the dressing into my salad to try and hide it. "I dunno. Well I mean, I know for sure I'm not gonna chase after him or beg him for attention. I refuse to sacrifice my dignity for him, or any other man for that matter."

"What if he initiates it?" Charlie asks. I hesitate before answering, "I have no idea." After the little display in the classroom, I know in my heart that if he initiates anything, I won't be able to turn him down. And that scares the shit out of me.
