Part 28: The Raid

A/N: Before beginning, I want you all to suggest an ultimate move for Kakine, name and all. I might just add it in. Sorry if the chapter feels rushed, I was too lazy and stressed.

Accelerator's POV

After dropping off the guy we captured, we students were sent back and told to wait for orders. The rest of them were a little uneasy and will probably have trouble sleeping but I'll have trouble sleeping for a different reason, I was excited. Why? Because ever since I helped crumble the league, there was literally nothing to do, and work study was generally walking around the streets waiting for trouble. While there have been a few incidents, this will be the first time I'll be fighting someone relatively strong after a while, nothing is better than putting someone's arrogance six feet under.

Then it happened. Late at night I got a message from Nighteye saying that the raid is tomorrow and I was to arrive at six. I went downstairs to see the other work studies' with serious expressions.

Accelerator: Yo.

Kirishima: Did you get the message?

I nodded.

Misaka: Then let's save a child's life!

I couldn't help but smirk.

Uraraka: What's so funny?

Accelerator: Oh nothing. Just thinking how much fun this is going to be.



(The next day 6:00 am)

We were all in Nighteye's meeting room, not decorated with All Might, thankfully. He had just explained that they had gotten the information needed to get a warrant from the police.

Rock Lock: Wait, how did we get this information?

Nighteye: The kids from the work studies, namely Accelerator had pinpointed a location of a deal between the Hassaikai and a gang. They along with Eraserhead apprehended the gang and using Mental Out's mind control managed to get us one man from the Hassaikai without arousing any suspicion. Not that being suspicious or not matters.

Rock Lock: Damn, I underestimated these kids.

Nighteye: In anycase, we will meet up with the police before the raid, at an empty parking lot near the Hassaikai manor.

Mirio: Lets! Go!

He started punching the air and spinning his arms in determination.

Misaki: So why are you so excited?

Accelerator: Whatever do you mean?

Misaka: You haven't stopped grinning since last night.

Accelerator: Hmm, it's probably because I hate human experiments for obvious reasons. Not only am I beating people up to shut it down but I'm also destroying my second project.

Misaki: You know you could smile normally for once.

The other UA students heard this comment and joined the conversation.

Nejire: Yeah, everytime you smile you always have a creepy one on you.

Amajiki: Brutally honest as always.

Tsuyu: He hasn't smiled since the beginning of the year.

Uraraka: He hasn't smiled normally since the entrance exam.

Misaka: Did he smile during your date.

Misaki had a slight blush but maintained her composure.
