Part 15: Training Camp Part 1

Accelerator's POV

I opened my eyes slowly and a blinding light hit them making it harder to open them. It was sunlight. I sat up slowly and took in my surroundings. I was in a hospital bed, it was morning and I noticed Last Order and Misaki sleeping next to me. Last Order slowly opened her eyes.

Last Order: Oh, you're awake.

Then she made a face of sudden realization and began to throw a tantrum.

Last Order: "Waaaaa! Misaka wanted to surprise you when you wake up but Misaka fell asleep when it really counted! Waaaaa!" says Misaka as Misaka throw a tantrum.

Because of her tantrum Misaki woke up and got up instantly, Last Order also stopped with her tantrum.

Both: Are you okay?

Their genuine concern caught me off guard, so I took a moment to answer.

Accelerator: Who do you think i am? Of course i'm alright. What about you two?

Misaki: Oh I just got some minor injuries, nothing more.

She put her hands up and nodded in negative as if to say 'don't worry'. I could see a few small bandages on her arm, but I decided that it was probably alright.

Accelerator: Seeing as the brat's able to throw a tantrum, i guess you're both alright.

Misaki: You aren't going to say anything?

Accelerator: About what?

Misaki: I couldn't protect her.

Accelerator: So? It was in the list of possibilities that he would find you and since he defeated me, it's safe to say Kihara came prepared for any unforeseen circumstances. I can't blame someone for something I myself couldn't do.

Misaka and the others entered the room.

Misaka: Yo, good to see you awake.

Accelerator: Yeah, yeah. So who's going to explain what happened and is going on?

Todoroki: Some villains attacked the I-Expo under the orders of the professor and his assistant, though the professor thought they were fake.

Misaka: Their objective was to steal a device that boosts a person's quirk, that the professor made. The professor wanted to give it to All Might, but his assistant had other plans, he wanted to sell it to the villains. The villains however stole and....killed him.

There was silence. I noticed Melissa at the back of the group.

Accelerator: Now you know why I hate researchers, Melissa.

She said nothing and just looked down.

Accelerator: By the looks of it, I'm still on this blasted island. Honestly this trip has been anything but enjoyable and relaxing.

Touma: Come on, it wasn't that bad.

Accelerator: You don't even get to say that. I was beaten to a pulp twice and I almost lost the brat forever. I'm sure most people here can agree that we've seen better days.

Bakugo: Explain this to me, what did they want with the brat anyway?

Accelerator: How would I know, go ask them yourself.

???: We can't do that unfortunately.

A man entered the room followed by All Might and David Shield. He was wearing a lab coat so I assumed he was a researcher.

???: Hello children, I am the Current Head of I-Island. You all did great work by saving the Island, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to pay up.
