He thought wrong.

He thought so wrong. In fact this will have been the worst night he had ever had.

Will woke up in a forest, it was pitch black and he was all alone. He blinked a few times, trying to force his eyes to adjust to the dark, feeling uneasy every time his eyes shut. For a while he just stumbled around, unsure of where he was or where he was going until his eyes fell on a cabin. He could see the light shining from the windows and he headed straight for them, hoping to find out any information on his where about, but when he got there it was empty. Besides some shelves and he noticed that the inside of the cabin was about 30cm off the ground so you could still see the woods.

Will thought this was odd but thought nothing of it while he checked the shelves. Only when he tried to leave the cabin did he notice that something was wrong. The door wouldn't open, and when he went to the windows to try them, they were gone. Not just shut, gone. Will started to panic a little bit now, he couldn't understand why he was trapped. Then a low guttural growl came form outside the cabin and Will froze in his place. He listened intently to make sure he didn't mishear it. A few moments of agonizing silence went by, then to growl came again, closer this time.

Will quietened his breathing and he actually dropped to the floor to look outside to find the source of the growl. There was a wolf like creature (think Lupin, Harry Potter) prowling around, sniffing the dirt. It looked pale and sickly but that only seemed to add to the terror Will was feeling. The creature suddenly stopped and turned its head toward Will suddenly, the beast emerald green eyes meeting his. It let out a howl like a werewolf as Will shot up and onto his feet. He didn't know what to do, or where to go. Shaking violently, he searched the cabin for somewhere to hide or something to protect himself with, but he couldn't find it.

Then, in a moment of clarity, he remembered the shelves, he didn't know if they could hold a person but he was going to find out. He rushed over and was able to stand on the now non-existent windows ledge and hoist himself up so he was no longer on the floor. He didn't dare move, or breath and he just lay watching the floor, waiting for something to try and break in. But it never came. Instead Will heard someone calling for help outside. He didn't recognise the voice first until it came again a little bit louder. One that he hadn't heard in a long time. His mother.

"Help, please!" She sounded desperate, Will wanted to help but he didn't know how he could. Then came a horrible scream from his mother and Will couldn't not listen to what he believed was happening outside. "Help" The call came, weaker this time, more crying than speech. Will wanted to jump down and kick the door until he could get to his mother. To help her in  her time of need like she would for him, but he was glued to the spot.

"Please, he-" The calls where cut off by a growl and a small scream before everything went silent again. Tears fell silently down Wills face because he couldn't save her and it sounded like that thing killed his mother.

"Is somebody there?" Another voice spoke again, Dean. The voice sounded like it was coming from behind him so Will turned over to face what he thought was the wall. Instead he found himself in front of a small window pointing out towards the trees, but he couldn't see Dean, He saw the wolf thing though. Still walking around the cabin trying to find is way in.

"Is somebody there?" Dean called a little louder, Will willed him to shut up and run away but he couldn't see him to communicate these thoughts and he didn't want to shout for fear of angering the beast. Who had had noticed stopped and was now sniffing the air. It opening its mouth, seemingly to howl, but instead Deans voice came again. And stopped when the wolf shut its mouth.

Was the sound coming from the wolf? Will stared in horror, waiting for it to happen again. The wolf didn't look around for Dean, but instead opened his mouth.

"Is somebody there?" Came from his mouth again. Will was petrified as this had absolutely convinced him that the wolf was making the noise and was trying to lure him  out of the cabin that way. It was horrifying to see, a human voice, one that he knew was coming out of that vile creature. 'But where did it hear those sounds?' Will didn't dare think of such things as he stared at the beast. It then turned his head and made direct eye contact with Will.

As soon as it made eye contact with Will he was snapped awake. Dean was shaking him and begging for him to wake up, but he was in such a deep sleep it took a while. Will had tears streaming down his eyes and his throat was sore from wat he assumed was a lot of shouting and screaming that he didn't remember.

"Will?" Dean half cried. "Oh thank god, its been nearly an hour!" Dean wrapped Will up in a tight hug and after a minute, Will broke down in his arms.

"I thought they were supposed to help" Will whimpered into Deans shoulder, who ad now calmed down.

"I know" Dean spoke with a soothing voice as he stroked Wills hair. "I Know"
