Dean picked up on the first ring, the panic was clear in voice when he spoke. He didn't even let Will speak.

"Omg are you ok? Where have you been, I haven't heard from you for days?!" He asked in quick succession. "Are you ok?" Will waited for his to stop asking questions.

"I'm ok" he finally answered when he could get the words in "I'm just at the hospital" Dean immediately made assumptions.

"What happened" his voice raising "Are you hurt?".

"No" Will said his voice cracking. "Hannibal was stabbed" A few tears slipped down his cheeks as he said this, remembering what he saw when he went into their house after the assault.

"Oh no" Dean sounded sympathetic "I'm so sorry, do you want to talk about it" Will nodded, trying to choke back sobs, "Yes, but not over the phone" He said finally "Coffee?"

Dean agreed and they made plans to meet up in a small coffee shop about ten minutes away. Will said his goodbyes over the phone and was just about to leave when Detective Novak called his name.

"Hey, Will! Wait up" He came running out of the hospital "You still have my card right?" Will nodded pulling the card out of his pocket and showing him. "Good, keep it on hand" Detective Novak nodded "Oh and can I get your number, I have some follow up questions for you, but I need to speak to your friend first, is that ok?"

"Yeah sure" Will wrote his number down for him so he could contact him whenever. "You will tell me if Hannibal worsens, won't you?" Cas nodded, "You not sticking around?" He asked, Will shook his head,

"I don't need to cause him any more pain than I already have" Will said quietly as he turned around to leave, Cas stood and watched the young man walk out of hospital grounds and out of view before returning to the hospital himself.

Will rounded the corner and saw a very anxious Dean looking around for him. Dean spotted him and started to walk towards him, Will continued down the street every step closer making him want to cry harder.

"Are you ok?" Those three words where all Will could take and he broke down crying, Dean wrapped his strong arms around Wills small frame and held him as he sobbed into his chest. Will's legs buckled underneath him as he cried and Dean fell to floor with him, still holding him close. Dean didn't care about the looks the two were getting and just hugged him tighter. After a few minutes, Will stopped crying and they both stood looking each other in the eye. Will did not hold his gaze for long and looked at his feet, slightly embarrassed about his public break down.

"I'm sorry about that" He chuckled, rubbing the remaining tears from his eyes. Dean simply put his hand on his shoulder and smiled, leading him towards the coffee shop for a well needed drink. Dean offered to buy the coffee and Will could not refuse, he chose a window seat as Dean ordered the coffees for the two boys. Dean actually had to physically tap Will to break him out of his thought when he returned to te table with two large mugs of hazelnut coffee. He laughed a little bit while placing Wills cup in front of him.

"Do you want to talk about it yet?" Dean asked blowing the hot liquid before taking a sip. Will wasn't sure if Dean would believe him if he told the truth, so instead he just told him about how he had seen the news and run round immediately to see Hannibal being whisked away. He thought it best to avoid telling him what he saw and just skipped to waiting for the hospital staff to bring news on his condition.

Dean listened, he really listened to what Will had to say, not interrupting him in any way and just letting him get it all out. When he had finished, Dean placed his hand on his, trying to comfort the boy in front of him.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through all that on your own" Dean said empathetically. Will smiled at his genuineness and started to drink his own coffee. After that talk was out of the way, they began to just chat about nothing and everything. They laughed and joked about school stuff and talked about the upcoming A Level exams, talking about how the AS-levels (The exams you do in the first year of sixth form) where probably a breeze compared to these ones. By now they had both finished their drinks and had decided to leave, they thanked the barrister as they left into the cool night air. Will once again thanked Dean for what he had done and hugged him. They stayed in that hug for a minute before they pulled away, arms still on one another's shoulders. They were looking at each other, staring into their eyes, into there very soul it felt like before it happened.

They kissed, which turned into a full on make out session in the middle of the street, Will pulled away, apologising for what they had just done but Dean didn't say anything back, instead, he brought their mouths together again.
