Karkats POV

I woke up and looked around. OK, I was in my room, the mattress by the radiator hadn't been put away. My mind instantly goes to terezi, I dropped her off at latulas with a pretty bad cold. She would probably be in school today since we only had today and Friday left. 

I jumped out of my bed and ran to the shower. I grabbed my cancer turtleneck, grey jeans and my black converse and stepped into I the bathroom. I threw my shoes down the stairs and turned on the shower.

When I'd done, I slipped on my clothes and ran down the stairs. Kankri was sitting at the table, an apple next to him. He seemed to be busy on his laptop since he didn't acknowledge me until I poked him.

"Ah, good morning Karkat" kankri looked up at me then pointed to the toaster,"toast all ready in there, pick a spread".

"Ok" I mumbled.

I got a plate and dropped the slightly burnt toast onto it. I had a quick search in the cupboards and picked up the nutella. I spread it on the toast and sat in the living room. I got my laptop, deciding to message someone. I logged on to pesterchum and see who's on. Terezi, tavros, gamzee and vriska. I decided o pester terezi then maybe tavros. We never talked much and I had lots of time before school since I woke up pretty early.

Carcinogeneticist began pestering gallowscalibrator

CG: TEREZI?

GC: K4RKL3S >:]

CG: YOU COMING TO SCHOOL TODAY?

GC: Y34H

CG: ARE YOU FEELING OK?

GC: YUP, 1M F1N3

CG: GOOD

GC: FLUSH3D FOR YOU

CG: FLUSHED FOR YOU

I leant back on the sofa, smiling ear to ear. I looked back at the people who were logged on. Terezi and vriska had logged off and now only tavros and gamzee were on. I didn't really feel like talking to gamzee at the moment so I pestered tavros.

Carcinogeneticist began pestering AdiosToreador

CG: HEY

AT: hI KARKAT, wHY ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?

CG: NO ONE ELSE IS ON AND I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO

AT: }:/

CG: WOW OK, ILL GO THEN

Tavros didn't seem to be in the best mood. He was probably talking to vriska beforehand.

"You should go now" kankri strode in and death glared me.

I nodded, ignoring him. I gave him my plate, set my laptop on the sofa and slipped on my shoes. I slung my bag on my shoulder and walked out the door to school.
