Karkats POV
We all walked into form together. I slipped into my seat at the back of the classroom and Terezi sat near the front. I leaned against the radiator. It was winter so it was obviously on. Vriska came in next, followed by Aradia, the quiet girl who never spoke. She was staring at her shoes, her long black hair covering most of her face. She sat in the middle, next to the radiator. Vriska sat in front of me.
I put my bag on the table, taking out my timetable and my book. Our form tutor called out the register. I took out my book, flipping to the bookmarked page and settled down for a good read. I looked over to Terezi who was doodling. She was allowed. Next, I looked at Vriska. She wasn't reading, she was drawing spiders on her am. I rolled my eyes.
After form, I had History. Great. I sit next to Vriska in history. Our table was made up of me, Vriska, Sollux, crybaby Eridan, Terezi and Nepeta.
"Karkles wait up" Terezi called.
I stopped walking and waited for her to catch up. She walked up to me, Vriska following. For some reason terezi and Vriska were really good friends.
We were the last too arrive in history. I slipped into my seat next to vriska and Terezi next to Nepeta.
"Ok class, today we're going to do an end of term assessment" the teacher starts. We all groan. "Don't worry, you're allowed to work in pairs. You need to make a poster on what we've been learning this past term".
"Can we pick?" Vriska asks.
The teacher frowns slightly "no, I have to pick, sorry".
The class groans again. The teacher begins to count us, checking that there was an even number.
"Ok, so Vriska and Tavros" the teacher started.
Vriska gave tavros a death glare. Tavros whimpered. I sigh, Tavros had the biggest crush on Vriska but she just kept on bullying him. It was strange.
"Karkat and... Terezi" I glanced at Terezi. Wow why was the teacher pairing us up boy girl?
Vriska whistled. I glared at her and she just laughed.
When we had all been assigned a partner, we were instructed to sit next to them. I wandered over to Terezi. Tavros came to sit at our table and Aradia and Sollux settled down on the spare seats.
"Terezi, how good are you at bubble writing?" I ask.
"Uhh, pretty good" she nods, a goofy smile on her face.
"Ok, I'll get out my sharpies" I grab my bag from under the table and pull out my case of sharpies. I set them on the table and watch Terezi carefully sketch out the title. She's pretty good for a blind girl I have to admit. She moved her head a little, her dark orange hair falling into her eyes. She blew it away and carried on.
After she'd done, we coloured it in, Terezi picked red and I picked teal. Terezi coloured over the lines once or twice but was pretty accurate. I guess it was practice, she did draw a lot.
After history was maths. I hated maths, I was good at it but I hated my table. It was me, a couple of friends, this one person I hated and no Terezi. I would occasionally glance over at Terezi and see her smiling. She had a good table with Nepeta and Vriska on it. It was a table of four but it only had three people on it. I found that unfair and asked multiple times if I could move but our teacher hated me.
I walked into the maths room, hands in pockets, already dreading the lesson. I sat next to Eridan. He narrowed his eyes at me and looked away. I looked over to see Terezi showing the teacher her note. The teacher nodded and walked off to do the register.
I rolled my eyes, this was gonna be a painful lesson...
