Karkats POV
When I arrived at my house, I noticed that my parents car wasn't there. They must still be at work. My parents were very busy, leaving me at home with my older brother, kankri for most of the week. They got Sundays off but even then, they were too busy cooking meals and congratulating kankri on his high grades to deal with me. I shook my head, not wanting to think about it. Digging into my pocket, I produce a key.
"Kankri, you home?" I yell as I shut the door behind me.
The house is silent, I'm home alone. Being home alone makes me happy, it gives me time to talk to old friends and we mess around with new typing quirks and roleplay. Now that I think about it, me and my friends always message in our own unique quirks. Mine is just caps because I'm angry all the time, vriska uses 8's, gamzee uses uppercase letters then lowercase letters, kanaya uses good grammar most of the time and buts a capital letter at the front of all her words. Terezi replaces some letters with numbers. I don't really know how she types in the first place but ever since the accident, her other senses have skyrocketed.
I decide to message Terezi, seeing if she got back safely. I didn't want to message the others, I get enough of them at school. I log onto pesterchum and find that Terezi was already on. I start to pester her.

CG: HEY TEREZI, DID YOU GET HOME OK?
GC: YUP, 1M OK K4RKL3S >:]
CG: SO, HAVE YOU DONE YOUR MATHS HOMEWORK?
GC: W3 H4D M4THS HOM3WORK?
CG: ....YES
GC: WH3NS 1T DU3?
CG: TOMORROW, DO YOU WANT ME TO COME OVER AND HELP? I KNOW YOURE NOT GOOD AT THIS (:B
GC: OK, L4TUL4 1SNT H3R3, 1M HOM3 4LON3
CG: SAME, BE THERE TEN MINUTES TOP
GC: OK, S33 YOU!

I shut the lid of my laptop and set it on my desk. Next, I grabbed my maths book and by backpack, got my key from the kitchen counter and stepped outside, grinning.
I quickly made my way to Terezi's house, which was a five minute walk and a one minute drive from my house because both our parents were really close and sometimes Latula babysat me even though I was fourteen and in year 9.
I finally arrive at Terezi's house. Yup, she's home alone, there were no red cars parked in her driveway and the kitchen lights weren't on. I knock on her door and wait for an answer.
After about thirty seconds, Terezi opened up, a smug smile on her slightly freckled face. I smiled at her enthusiasm. She ushered me in and shut the door and we both walked up to her room. Terezi was taller than me, she had dark red hair and was wearing a red plaid shirt, her jeans and white socks. She opened the door to her room and sat on her bed, patting the spot beside her. I hesitate but sit down next to her. I can feel her warmth, it was calming. Terezi slid on her red glasses and picked up her maths book, trying to make out the first question. I saw her bend down and sniff the book a little, later on, writing down the exact question. Yup, Terezi's senses were extraordinary.
After I'd helped her do her homework, we sat on her floor, wondering what we would do next.
"We should hold a fake court" Terezi grinned.
I was just about to nod when my phone rang. I stood up and told terezi to wait a second.
"Yes?" I grumbled, walking into her bathroom.
"Karkat, where are you!?" It was kankri and he sounded worried.
"I'm round Terezi's, helping her with homework" I say, leaning in the sink.
"Ooooh" kanri said, sounding really smug.
He knew I had a crush on Terezi, even more now that she was blind. I blushed a little "What do you want?" I growled.
"You need to come back" he said plainly though I knew he wore a smug face.
I said Okay then walked back.
"I need to go" I sighed sadly.
Terezi looked crestfallen. I hugged her goodbye and left.
That was longer than I thought. Ok guys get this app called AlterniaFM it plays homestuck songs from the soundtrack and parodies. Right now, karkalicious is on :O
