Wow I really need to make an update schedule. Oh well, whilst I am writing this, I am listening to music and its pretty loud so if I make any stupid mistakes, blame that ^^
Vriskas POV
I leant against a tree, checking the time on my phone for the eight time. Terezi said she would be here and she was already ten minutes late!!!!!!!! But then again, she is blind, she needs to tread carefully if latula wasn't driving her there. I narrow my eyes and look around. There were kinda playing in the playground, hence the name. And a bunch of kids from my school who I didn't know that well. I knew one kid, a guy who had tried hitting on my even though he was one year younger than me. Yup, it was the creep. Just as I was about to leave to go look for my blind friend, he noticed me. He ran up to my tree and leant on it casually wit one hand, the other on his hip.
"Hey there-" he started to say but I cut him off with a small slap.
"No" I growled.
"Ohohohoho, I see" he rubbd his red cheek.
I sighed and rolled my eyes "no, no you don't".
"Aww come on. Is it because I'm younger than you? Is my age throwing you off?" He gave me a stupid pout.
"I need to go and meet my friend" I pointed to terezi who was walked down the path with her blind cane.
He wouldn't let me past, even if I tried to rugby tackle him. He was surprisingly strong for a year 8.
"Hey vriska" I sighed in relief, I was saved by terezi who jabbed her cane into the guys foot. Heck, I don't even know his name. But now he knows mine.
"Vriskas a pretty name" he then turned to terezi,"who's your cute friend".
Terezi didn't reply, she just frowned and raised an eyebrow.
"She's taken, now scram" I start to loose my patience.
He gives me another pout then walks off to his cheering friends.
"I smelt a loser" terezi said as we walked away, heading towards the candy shop.
"And a loser he was" I nodded in agreement.
"He called me cute what to heck!"
I ruffled her hair "you're pretty cute" I laughed as she swatted my hand away. "I mean, you got a date before me".
"Just date john, its not that hard" we stopped at a road. A car, noticing the blind cane, stopped for us. Terezi swept her cane over the road, nearly hitting a car. She we got to the other side, she continued, "he has a crazy crush on you".
I blushed a bit. "And who told you that?"
"Dave"
Of course it was dave. Dave was terezis moirail, which basically means best friend. We were moirails once but our friendship broke and will probably never be fixed properly.
"Dave's lame" I looked down to see her reaction.
She just raised her eyebrow at me but said nothing more. Ok, fair enough. I decided to change the subject to stop the awkward silence.
"So, ya know kanayas been drawing an AU where we're all trolls" I say.
Kanaya was a true artist. She had drawn us all as these humanoid creatures with grey skin, black hair and candy corn coloured horns called trolls. My troll, trollsona I guess you could say, looked pretty cool. I mean, it had eight-fold vision and was a pirate!!!!!!!!
"Oh yeah, I've heard about that" she nodded.
Terezis trollsona looked pretty cool as well. It had triangular horns, a blind cane with a dragon head on it that could turn into two swords and hr red glasses. She still had her freckles scattered on her cheeks and nose but they were a light teal colour.
It was pretty complicated. There was a hemospectrum which went from high to low blood based on our star signs. The two highest bloods, which were violet an fuchsia, were called seadwellers. They had fins and lived in the sea, once again, hence the name.
Our hemospectrum colors were rust red, bronze, gold, candy red (mutant), olive, jade, teal, cobalt, indigo, purple, violet and fuchsia.
"Vriska stop daydreaming, you almost walked into someone" terezi jabbed me in the ribs with her bony elbow.
"How do you know, you're blind" I sao defensively.
"Yeah but I'm not deaf" damn, she is literally the right height to jab me multiple times in the ribs. I need to be more careful. She went on,"and the woman was kinda yelling you".
"Oh ok" I pulled her into the candy shop.
