OK, so I guess I'm sticking with one update every two or so days even though I'm tired and stuff.
Karkats POV
I arrived at school to see tavros trying to size up vriska. Though he was already slightly taller than her, as guys usually are, he was still intimidated. Let's just face it, we all were. Except for terezi who liked to take crazy risks. Speaking of her, I could see her near the others with kanaya. She was huddled in the corner, a dark teal scarf wrapped around her. Her nose was a faint red colour and I could tell she was getting frustrated with the fact that she couldn't smell properly. Maybe it would've been better to give her a couple days off. I strode up to them and wrapped my arm around her. Kanaya gave me a knowing, kinda smug look but I shrugged it off.
"Hey Karkat, I was trying to message you this morning but I guess you were already out" kanaya tried to make a conversation to cover up the awkward silence.
"Oh, sorry, I wokd up early but spent way too long getting ready. I checked pesterchum once" I took a deep breath then finished," but I guess you logged on when I shut down my laptop".
Kanaya nods and i continue to squeeze terezi to keep her warm. I stop when I heard a groan and a faint wheezing noise. Kanaya chuckles and shakes her head, I death glare her.
"So, what about you and rose?" I tilt me head and quirk and eyebrow as she blushes slightly.
"Its going better than expected, no one cares that were dating and its all good" she nods, smiling a bit.
I grin ear to ear "I'm so happy for you".
"And I'm happy for you" she nods to terezi.
Yup, pretty much all of our friends know we're dating. Nepeta looked heartbroken then just squealed and said we were cute together. Vriska smirked at me and said she was happy for us. Tavros just kinda stared at vriska. I guess he was hoping for our kind of relationship. Kanaya was over the freaking moon, she nearly killed me with her hug. Aradia was grinning like a fool and Sollux didn't care. Typical.
I stand up as the bell rings and guide terezi to form. We sit down, our hands intertwined. We got some whistles after that. I just turned my head to hide my blush and terezi sat there stone faced. I guess she doesn't care as she can't see the haters.
After form was two incredibly boring lessons that consisted of tests and other assessments. It felt like days before break came. We all rushed out, excited for the fresh air and playground noises. And food. Never forgot the food.
I was starving since all I had for breakfast was half a slice of burnt toast so I fished out some money and bought a ham and cheese panini. As I took a bite, the cheese melted in my mouth. I closed my eyes, letting the flavours dance on my tongue. I loved Panini's. Someone poked my arm, I turned and glared at them. It was terezi, she was holding a carton of apple juice in one hand and stiff poking me with the other.
"Where did you get the apple juice?" I asked. Terezi normally brought money for food.
"Dave gave it to me" she shrugged it off.
"Wow he thinks he's so cool" I wave my hands around in the air, gaining me funny looks,"stay away from him".
Terezi frowned like she was debating in her head. Then just nodded. I went back to eating. When I'd finished, the bell rang, signalling more boring lessons which I didn't care about. Great. I hate my life.
