Terezis POV

I opened my eyes to darkness. What else would I see, I'm blind. I sigh and roll out of my bed. I hit the supposed floor with a thud and grunt as I pull myself into a sitting position. I feel around for my cane and my phone, licking the screen with my sensitive tongue to check the time. It was about 11:30AM on a Sunday. I had no plans for today, I just knew that I wanted to be away from gamzee and karkat, maybe talk to some old childhood friends like Sollux or vriska. I logged onto the pesterchum mobile app and sniffed my screen again. I smirked n pressed the start chat button:

AG: what is it?

AG: sure we can hang, I'm free all day, I'm home alone with Aranea

OK, I knew latula wouldn't care about me hanging out with vriska. We'd known each other than whole of her lives an she was actually part of how I became blind. But, she go badly injured too so we were even and I wasn't one of those people who would just go around hating her forever. We used to be a team before the incident but my blindness caused me to missed two months of school, maybe even more. That's the one thin I can't restore. The scourge sisters will never be a thing. I grabbed my white and red cane and stomped downstairs and into the kitchen. Memories of yesterday were still fresh in my mind but I did my best to shrug them off and make my face as straight and as normal as possible, not show in any fear or hatred.

"Hey tz" latula poked me from behind as she walked past.

"Hi" I made my way to the large wooden latble, setting myself down and leaning my cane against it. "Is it ok if I go out with vriska today to hag out and buy candy?" I blurt.

"Sure, why time were you thinking?"

"I'll go at 1 so I have more than an hour to chill and get ready then I'll be back by 5PM at the latest. Any problems, I'll text you" I nod to myself and eat my cereal latula had poured for me.

"Ahh, I taught you well" latula chuckled and patted my shoulder.

Ever since I went blind, she's been taking care of me. She was with me when they said I had been diagnosed or whatever with this thing where I could smell and taste colors. I can't remember what its called, it has a long name I can't pronounce. I missed seeing my old friends and after a while, I moved school and met Karkat. I think the most depressing thing is that I don't know why he looks like but he smells nice and I guess that makes up for it.

After I ate my cereal I went back upstairs, changed, showered then flopped onto my bed, thinking depressing thoughts about gamzee and Karkat and nepetas super cool but messed up quadrants. I closed my eyes even though it didn't help anything and though of a world where I wasn't blind. Man, that would be great. I'd be able to see old friends again like Sollux, vriska, Aradia, nepeta and tavros and also newer ones like Karkat, Dave and all the other ones that I made at my new school. Except from John. I feel like if I didn't hate gamzee as much as I did, he would be my Kismesis since I did nearly kill him. It was an accident though.....

I was like this until my alarm went off, snapping me out of my daydream. Ok, time to go hang out with my creepy spider friend.
