"Dear, say goodnight to Y/n, or else you'll be late for your first day back to school." You heard Bernadette's voice in the background. "Aw, but I want to talk to her more..." Diana whined.
Even if you're not with her physically, you can't help but crack a smile at the adorable pouty face of Diana on your crystal ball. "I'll call you back when I wake up tomorrow, so go to class. Also, there should arrive a special package for you next week, so be prepared for that."
You could practically see sparkles in her eyes as you smiled widely, "Really? What is it? Can you give me a hint?"
You let out a chuckle, "Yes, really, but I'm not going to spoil it, you'll just have to wait and see." Diana pouted once more, "Well, I'll see you later, have fun at school." You sent her a smile and ended the call.
When you put away your crystal ball, you caught sight of a young girl with short brunette hair and big sparkling red eyes. She was staring at you in total awe, suddenly, she ran straight at you and clasped your hands in hers, "You're a witch!" she yelled excitedly.
"U-um, yeah?" You leaned away from the excited child, "Is there a problem?"
"Of course there isn't, it's good-not GREAT!" This time, she leaned closer to your face, "This is my first time ever meeting a real witch in person! Can you fly a broom? Can you cast spells? Can you turn someone into an animal?!" She was bombarding you with questions, not letting you answer or process any.
Who knows how many questions she asked you but before your brain could implode on itself, the little girl was karate chopped on the head by Akiko. "Geez, give the poor girl some space, Akko, can't you see you're scaring her?"
The girl now known as 'Akko', rubbing her head to ease the pain, she let out a meek apology and giggled. You sweatdropped, "Ah, it's alright."
Akko smiled brightly, "My name's Kagari Atsuko, by the way, but you can call me Akko! What's your name?" she outstretched her hand to you.
You took her hand and shook it, "I'm Mcrae Y/n, it's nice to meet you, Akko." You didn't think it was possible but her smile got even brighter, 'Damn, my jaw hurts just by watching her... '
It appears that the girl, Akko, is the granddaughter of the old lady that visits you. The two of you spent hours talking, it was mostly Akko who did the talking while you just sat there, listening. You've noticed that whatever she talks it would always lead to something that involves Shiny Chariot.
Shiny Chariot is a famous performer in the non-magic (muggle) world, but sadly, she's quite frowned upon by most of the magic community. They hate the fact that she's using the already depleting magic for entertainment.
To be honest, you and Chariot are roughly the same age, if you weren't stuck in a 5-year-old's body, you would definitely go and make the effort to go out with her. Maybe if you meet her in person when you're older, you'll ask her out.
You felt a gentle tap on your shoulder, it was Akko, "Hey, Y/n-chan, can you tell me how you worked the crystal ball?"
You thought for a second on how to explain it to her so she'll understand, "Hmm, I guess, it's like how you would use a phone. We all know that you need to plug in a phone to charge it so it'll work properly, right? So, the crystal ball is like a phone that is required to be plugged. To put it simply, you need to act as the charger for the crystal ball to let the magic go through it. But since magic isn't as abundant as it used to be in the olden times, we need to be close to a Sorcerer's Stone to actually be able to use magic."
Akko hummed in understanding, "So that explains why I couldn't fly, I just thought I needed a higher place to jump off of." she innocently giggled, "But there's one thing I don't understand, you said that witches needed to be around something called a Sorcerer's Stone to cast spells, so then, how did you do it?"
You smiled at her, "Well, that has something to do with my family, our clan has the ability to store and turn energy into magical energy. Basically, I'm a mini organic Sorcerer's Stone. It's in my blood." You proudly stated.
The little girl stared at you in awe, "Wow, so you make magic energy whenever you want... I want your blood!"
"Akko, that's not how it works... "

"Y/n!" Diana rushed towards you like a rocket as she tackled you into a big hug, good thing you were already in bed. "I've missed you so much! How about you? Did you miss me?"
"Yes, I've missed you too." You patted her head, she, of course happily leaned in closer to your touch.
The two of you caught up, but since you didn't do anything special, you just ended up listening to the excited girl as she talked about her school and what she learned.
Before Diana and her mother left, you took out an envelope and handed it to her. Diana took it but looked at you questioningly, "On February 4th at 7, there's going to be a live performance of none other than Shiny Chariot herself. There are two tickets for you and one extra."
Diana practically glowed in delight, "February 4th? That's in two days! How did you get these? Mother tried to buy tickets but it was all sold out!"
You grinned at her, "Don't worry about it, I know how much you look up to Chariot so of course, I'd get it for you." You didn't want to tell the pure child how you threatened some teens to get the tickets, you made sure to pay them enough so they won't snitch to the cops.
