surpriseeee guys- i actually forgot that i wrote this poem on the bus today, and i wanted to share it with you all. so here's an extra poem for today <3 enjoy:)

                              you said
                              i keep a world
                              tucked inside of myself
                              deep in the corners
                              of my restless mind
                              and you call it home-
                              an evolving Neverland
                              wrapped in dark lights
                              and blue velvet skies
                              where my ink
                              can finally shine
                              a ghostly glow
                              to remind you of
                              our starry nights
                              and hands held tight
                              and you say my words
                              kept you up till midnight
                              but when strung together
                              just right,
                              my ramblings sweetly spinning
                              into stuff made from dreams—
spun sugar and candy floss and
                              lovely rhyme schemes,
                              you said you felt
                              the stars align
                              and collide together to melt
into a world of our own
                              that still continues to grow
                              when we let it
