Sinalubong agad kami ng maraming project at reporting. At least we had a decent vacation, I guess?
"Good morning." he greeted me with a sleepy voice and sat beside me. I didn't even get to see his face because he already slept with his head under his arms on the table.
"Did you not sleep?" I asked while flipping my notebook. Tinignan ko yung mga pen ko na wala ng ink. I forgot to buy a new one. "No ink." I whispered and sighed.
Nagulat ako nung inangat niya ulo niya para may kunin sa bag. He dropped it on my notebook and laid his head down again.
"I did. Pero kulang." he answered my question. I nodded at his response and slowly took the pen he gave me.
I didn't disturb him anymore and I just took notes for him too. He looks pretty tired and naaawa ako. Buti nalang hindi siya napansin ng prof namin. But they normally don't care if someone sleeps. It's the student's choice if they want to fail or not, they think.
He woke up just after the class ended. He wiped his eyes and looked around. He was even surprised when he still saw me here, sitting. I looked at him and smiled.
"Good morning!" I chuckled and gave him his pen back. "You seem pretty tired. Sleep more." I said, while giving him the notes I wrote for him.
"Huh? You didn't have to write for me," he observed the notes I just gave him. "That's a lot. Hindi ba napagod mga kamay mo?" he sounded worried. He even took my hand and shook it.
"Hey, it's fine. I'm used to writing a lot." I laughed at him and took my hand away from him.
"Talaga? Powers mo nga naman." he whispered and yawned right after. Cute.
I took my bag with me and left the room to go to another class. Akala ko ay susundan niya ako but he took some time before he got out of the room. When he saw me, he was still rubbing his eyes while following me. Parang aso na kakagising lang.
We finished all of our classes at nag-aya pa siya na sabay na kami kumain ng lunch. I agreed since kasama pa ni Ivy yung mga kaibigan niya. I'm pretty sure Luca still has basketball practice. Sakto na katabi pa ng court kami kakain. I might see Luca after his practice.
We ordered some food and it was fairly cheap so I enjoyed it too.
"This tastes really good," I commented while taking one more bite.
