Crossing Through A Valiant Heart (ON-GOING)

Chapter 6

"W-What?!" napaatras ako ng konti sa kanya.

"I'm kidding. You look so grossed out. Do you think I'd even want to date you?" he smirked and chuckled. "Keep that. I can buy more for me." he shrugged and walked away. How could he leave me like this here!

I can't run to him anymore because he went to an open area. Baka makita pa kami ni Calice at kung ano pa ang isipin. Too dangerous! I can't risk it. My bodyguard still goes to my campus here and then but I told him to go elsewhere because I'll be staying in my dorm pretty much 24/7 anyway.

I went to this small cafe on our campus because I ran out of coffee in the dorm. It's almost new year and I'm glad I have some clothes with me. I don't know where I'll be spending it but I hope I get to stay here in the dorm. My parents don't really celebrate Christmas so I know that it's all right for me to stay here on the campus. I'll just celebrate it with Ivy and some other girls. 

"You're here for coffee too?" he smiled and put his book down. Zeth removed his glasses and kept it in a case. "Ano yung emergency mo noon? Gone for one week, I heard." he added.

"It's a family emergency. I'm sorry. Babawi ako, I promise." I panicked a little. Everyone is asking about it but I don't feel quite comfortable to share it yet.

"It's okay. No pressure. Sa'yo na 'to. 'Di ko pa iniinom." binigay niya sa akin yung kape na nasa kamay niya.

"Usod." someone coldly pushed Zeth a little on their right so he could sit. "Rylee?"

Oh, God. I hope no one sees us. I have to get out of here.

"O-Oh- Anyway, I'm heading out. I have plenty of things to do." I smiled at Zeth and stood up to fix my bag.

"Di raw ako iiwasan." pagpaparinig na bulong ni Ice.

"I'm not," I answered when I stopped fixing my bag midway.

"Really?" He sipped on his coffee and didn't put an expression on his face. "Let's talk."

"What will we talk about?"

"You decide. 'Di mo ako iniiwasan diba?" he smirked.

"Haha! Ikaw mag-aaya tapos siya mag-iisip? Ibang klase ka tol!" pagsalubong sa amin ni Birch. Inakbayan niya si Ice at umupo sa mga hita nito.

"Shut the fuck up. Sige wag na." sumandal siya at umiwas na ng tingin sa akin.

I walked away with my bag in my hand. Buti nalang dumating si Birch! Thank God. I have an excuse to leave. Plus, I don't think Calice will go everywhere I go, right? She won't be too much and we're old enough to know our boundaries.

Just before I left the cafe, nakabungguan ko si Calice at Raquel. Her brows furrowed and looked behind me. She's not going to report about this again, is she? I need to talk to her before I get in trouble again. She's misunderstanding everything.
