Chapter 2

"What? You were chasing who?"

Ivy can't believe what she just heard. She was even laughing for five minutes already! Kilala niya rin kasi si Ice. No one really talked to him back in high school. They were scared to approach him i guess. But guess what? He's here now, too. But the thing is, girls are chasing him now. Ang weird lang dahil baka isipin niya na isa ako sa mga babaeng 'yon! 

"Travis Isaiah? Ice dude? You were chasing him?! Anong nangyayari sa'yo Ryry? Do you like him?" she pointed at my face while laughing.

"Hindi! Calice and Raquel wanted him to be in our group for the thesis. Hindi nila ako kakausapin pag hindi ko siya pinilit. I know it sounds stupid." i face palmed.

"It is stupid." she drank her juice and sat back. "Why are they even asking you to do it ba? They can just chase him by themselves! Bitches." she rolled her eyes.

"Stop, Ivy. They're still my friends." 

Napabuntong hininga ako. I'm not numb to feel pain. But i don't want to assume, as well. They've been with me since day one of high school. Ang hirap humiwalay sa kanila. Even if i'm being treated like this. Tinatago ko nalang sa ngiti at tawa.

"Friends my ass, Ry. Luca and Jace will literally get mad at you for staying with those girls, i fucking swear." 

Jace and Luca are like me and Ivy's bodyguards. Well, minsan natatakot sila kay Ivy. Ivy has a really strong personality. She doesn't need bodyguards. But that's what we are. We're always going to be there for each other. I can say that they're my family already.

I came to school really early. No one was even in the class yet so i had time to prepare everything. I checked my phone if i had messages but Calice, Raquel and Zel were really quiet. The only group chat that was noisy is the gc with Jace, Luca and Ivy.

lucaluca: may kadate na ako!!

jacekai.mendz: stop the bs luca haha

ivy.ette: stfu there's no way.

lucaluca: ah ganon? pag pinakilala ko sa inyo 'wag kayong magsosorry ha!

ivy.ette: ok edi introduce her muna :)

lucaluca: tse!!

I laughed at their convo. Luca has been trying to get someone! Hindi ko ba alam kung bakit yung mga hinahabol niya ay ayaw sa kanya kahit na maraming babae na ang naghahabol sa kanya. It's so ironic. He's good at taking care of girls, though. I think he's never mistreated a lady. I'm glad i'm friends with gentlemen.

"Got him?" Raquel asked when she entered the room.

Calice sat far from us. Here we go again.

"Hindi ko siya nakausap yesterday. I'll try again today." i awkwardly smiled.

"Okay, thanks. Lunch with Zel later, okay? Update us." she pat my back before sitting beside Calice.
