We spent four hours in the library, just studying.
"Hey, I'm heading back to my dorm. I'll do my projects there." ani Jace.
"Sure." tumango ako at tinulungan ko siyang ligpitin ang mga gamit niya.
When he left, Ice and I are left alone. Dead silence. I'm scared to talk because he said ayaw niya ng istorbo! I can just leave, anyway. But I'll feel bad because he came here for me. Because "we're" friends. God, I don't know what to do.
"Stop staring at me. Feels weird." he said with a cold tone while reading his textbook.
"I'm not." I answered.
"Kayo ba ni Jace?" he asked without looking at me.
Seriously? That question again? I can't count the times that I've encountered that question in my whole life.
"No. We're just friends."
"Really? Lagi ko kayo nakikitang magkasama, eh. So that's a friendly couple, huh?" he chuckled sarcastically.
God, no thanks.
"Friendly couple? Who?"
Sabay kaming napatingin ni Ice sa nagsalitang chismosa. We're still first year! Baka magkaissue na kami ni Jace. This is not good.
I looked at Ice and saw him smirking at me.
I rushed out of the library after that interaction with that girl. Baka kung ano pa sabihin ni Ice! He looked like he had plans to spread it, urgh. Why do people assume that people are dating when all they did was walk together or something!? Is that not normal at all?
"Triggered?"
Nagulat ako nang makita kong nasa tabi ko na naman siya! He's really stalking me! This is getting scarrier and scarrier.
"Can you stop following me?"
"That was funny. Wasn't it?" he placed his hands in his pockets when I stopped to face him. "Oh? Bakit ka galit?"
"Because it wasn't funny. We're just friends and that's it. Wag mo na ipagkalat sa buong campus. I don't want to see my name in their magazines. That's hella embarrassing." I hurriedly explained.
His smile faded and he stared at me. "Pero wala naman akong sinabi sa kanya, diba? You need to chill, lady."
Napabuntong hininga ako.
"Hey hey hey! Icey boy!" inakbayan siya ni Berch. "Oh! Hi Rylee!" bati niya.
I smiled and waved at him.
"Oh, napapadalas na yata pagsasama natin nila sir Ice, ha." Tino smirked at me.
