He was alone. He needed friends. But everyone he asked to be friends with either ran, laughed,or called him names. Well if he couldn't find friends he'd make himself some friends, so that's exactly what he did.

After laboring for hours in his parents basement he finally figured it out. He wiped the sweat from his brow and smiled. "Hi new friend." The thing looked at him and gave what only could be called a smile.
"We are gonna have so much fun we won't need them." He took his father's work gloves off of his hands and laid them down so his father wouldn't know he used them. "Do you wanna go outside?" He asked his new friend. Whatever he created nodded its head. "Don't worry I'll find a way to give you a voice later."
The thing got off of the worktable and tested it's legs. "Well do they work okay?" Again it nodded it's head. "Good! Now let's go outside and have fun!" The boy and his friend walked up the basement stairs and outside to play.
