Tobias POV:
Finally, after what seemed decades, I pull into Triis and I's drive way. What I didn't expect, was a random car sitting in my usual car spot.
I quickly rush out of the car, leaving Susan in it.
"Tris!" I yell at the top of my lungs. My hands shake as I try to unlock the door, and when I open it I almost died.
Tris was on the floor, her head with a faint blood stain. I take a step, until I notice Caleb in the corner of the room holding up a gun.
"Move another step and I blow your fucking brains out."
I stop, my breaths coming to a halt. I hear Caleb start laughing under his breath.
"I never thought it would be this easy to catch the all mighty Four." He walks up to me, tapping the gun against his legs.
"Now what to do with you and my sister.. Hm.."
I can't think. The fear of him hurting Tris crosses my mind. What's worst of all- This is all because of my idiotic actions. I should of stayed with Tris, and not had ran off like a damn fool.
He leans over above Tris, examining her bruised face.
"Poor Tris. I never wanted it to come with this. I thought she actually had a chance."
That asshole.. I thought.
"What do you want?" I finally speak up.
Caleb looks at me funny, then starts laughing.
"What do I want? You tell me. What do I want, Four."
"Don't use my name against me, it isn't going to work."
Caleb shifts his fingers into his chin and tilts it slightly.
"What I wanted was someone to care for me."
I give him a blank face, not understanding a word he said.
He grunts. "Of course you don't know, idiot. When Tris was born everyone averted their attention more on her then me. If I didn't make it on time to dinner, no one would notice. I could be walking the streets at night and my dad would think I was upstairs the whole time. My parents never loved me. No one did!"
Tears slowly fill his eyes, but disappear as he gains his composure.
"Caleb... I understand." I whisper.
"What did you say?"
"I said, I understand. I had a pretty fucked up childhood. My mom died when I was eight, my dad constantly drank and abused me. It was a living nightmare I could never escape from. But I met Tris, and I've never felt like a normal person until meeting her. You just need to find someone. Killing off people isn't the way to deal with things. You can't choose how you get hurt in this world, Caleb, but you should have some say in who hurts you, and Caleb, it shouldn't have been your parents. You should of stood up for yourself and talked to them instead of waiting. And now what? They're dead, from your filthy little hands. I was fucking abused Caleb, but I never once laid a hand on my father, unless it was for self defense to the face."
Caleb looked shocked, as he lowered the gun. He fumbled backwards, sliding down the wall.
"I.." Be mumbles, but nothing comes out after that.
"Hey guys! What's going-"
BAM!
Susan stands at the doorway, clutching her stomach.
