Chapter 32

"Tris! Did you hear about Christina?!" Uriah is practically screaming at me down the hallway. Before he interrupted me, I was currently talking to Tobias at my locker. We were chatting about our last our classes, that we didn't have together.

"What about her?" I didn't really need to ask, everyone already knew about her pregnancy, since her bump is slowly showing.

"Christina is having a baby! I never imagined her having a baby." I forgot Uriah had been gone yesterday because he was sick.

"Yeah, we were told yesterday by her. I can't believe she isn't scared of the hate she will get with it."

As I say that, we all turn our heads turn Christina's locker, were we see Will leaning over and talking to her small bump, and kissing it. We also notice the girls around them ooo'ing and aaa'ing over it, giving their boyfriend the "you better do that to me" Look.

"They really are a perfect couple, huh?" This is the first time Tobias has talked since Uriah came over. "Does she know the gender yet?"

I tap my fingers for a moment on my chin, thinking about the gender possibilities. "I have an idea."

"What is it?" The whole group says unison.

"How about," I start off, "we have a contest on what the gender is going to be! Whoever gets it correct gets to save their money and have the member of their choice buy the baby shower gift."

Everyone starts slowly nodding their heads. Well, everyone besides Uriah. He was jumping up and down while clapping.

"Yes, yes, YES!" He squeals. "I put my bet that it's going to be a hella rad boy." His excitement picks up as he mentions then having a little boy.

I smile before speaking. "All right, raise your hand if you think they are having a boy."

My hand along with Uriah's goes up, and everyone else keeps theirs down.

"All right, now raise a hand for a girl."

Zeke and Tobias instantly raise their hands up, and give each other high fives.

"Yeah, bruh!" Zeke says to Tobias. "We're in it to win it!"

The two start their own little 'fangirling' which makes Uriah and I roll our eyes.

"Bets on, fools." Uriah quietly says. We all reach our hands out and shake on it, besides Tobias and I who just give a quick peck on the lips.

The bell rings, giving us the sign that we have only two minutes to get to our classes.

"Shit, bye everyone!" I holler over my shoulder. Everyone waves, and I race my way over to Home ec.

------Middle O' Class------

"Now just put your cake in at 360 degrees, and let it set for about fifteen minutes,"

Home ec is usually my favorite class, but I felt kind of gloomy today. Christina and Shaunna are usually here, but Shaunna got sick second hour and Christina had to go full out some papers for the Prom Committee.

I put my cake in the oven, and let it sit.

"Now, as you all wait for you're cake, you might as well get a few other things done. Ladies, I want you doing the laundry we put in the drier in my last class. Boys, wash and dry all the dirty dishes that have piled up over the day."

With that, everyone quickly got to their positions and started working on their duty. I was folding shirts and socks, and every other girl had Jeans and Undies. I separated the girl clothes from the boys, which were easy to tell by the little tags inside that sad the persons name. While folding, I find a note inside of a shirt pocket. I opened it and saw a full conversation from what it looks like was between Tobias and Lynn.

L: "Tobias, I've known you for so long, and we have been friends forever. I wanted to know if you would break up with Tris for me?"

Lynn?! I always thought she was a lesbian. She had even told me after we met that she was dating some chick named Molly.

T: "Lynn, I told you before, I don't have the same feelings as you do towards me. I love Tris, and that's final."

L: "You wouldn't want me to tell Tris about your dirty little secret, would you?"

T: "Lynn I swear to god..."

L: "don't worry, your secret is safe with me, as long as you do me a favor... take me out to see a movie. Just go on one date with me, no kisses, hugs, or sex. Unless, of course, you want to."

T: "that's disgusting Lynn! And if it means for you to shut your filthy mouth, I guess. But you tell NO ONE, okay? I don't need Tris getting the wrong idea. I love her too much to let her go."

L: "don't worry, it's a secrecy. See you Wednesday night, right after school."

The note stops there. So Tobias would go as far as to cheating on me just to keep a secret? I'll admit, I have secrets I never want let out, but if it meant keeping a fair relation ship I would tell the honest truth.

In anger, I crumble the note and shove it into my bag. I start to remember Tobias's words from this morning.

"I'm going to Zeke's after school, call of you need me at home."

He lied to me.

And this will be the last time her ever lies to me.

*Tobias POV*

Lynn sees me walking towards her purple bug jeep and starts to run up to hug me. She nearly tackles me to the ground, squeezing me so hard.

"Hugging was never apart of our deal, remember." I am all ready annoyed wit going behind Tris's back, I don't need to go any farther.

"Okay, let's just go then."

I jump into the passenger side of the jeep, and we drive off to the movie theater. She let me pick the movie, and I choose some movie called 'Dark Shadows' which is supposed to be a comedy based about vampires. Any movie with Johnny Depp is a good movie.

In the middle of the movie, I realized that Lynn was snuggling to my arm. I politely shake her off, and she gives me a confused look before turning her attention bak towards the movie.

"I knew it." A voice whispers behind me.

My mouth drops open when a teary eyed Tris stands next to Christina.

"I knew it! Just for a freaking secret!"

I was shocked. How could she have found out? "Tris wait I can-"

"Just don't!" She snaps at me, causing a scene. "It's over, Tobias. Good bye." And she leaves.

My world has just entirely ended, forever.
