The day went by fast, surprisingly. I waited patiently by my locker for Tobias so we could go back home. When I'm filling up my bag, I feel a small tap on my shoulder. I whip my head around to see Christina smiling up at me.
"You scared me, ass hat." I say, turning back around to put my books in the right place.
"I need to talk to you. Alone."
I nod, grabbing my bag and purse to slam my locker shut. Christina drags me to the science lab.
"Bea, I'm scared." Christina says frantic. I can see tears forming around her eyes.
"What's wrong?" I say, trying to comfort her. Her tears come out quicker, as do her breaths,
"After my date last night, Will and I went back to his place. We had a few drinks and." She takes a huge sniff and starts crying again. I reach into my purse and pull out a couple tissues, handing them to her.
"What Chris? Did he hurt you?"
"I'm late."
"Huh?" I asked confused.
"I should of started this morning. My period. It's late."
I'm taken back by this comment, not knowing Christina was that kind of person. I hug her tight.
"Shh. Shh. It's okay Chrissy. Maybe it's just starting late then usual. Last month, mine was a week late then finally came. I'm sure yours will happen any time now. Don't worry about it."
She hugs me close, and I hug back. "Thanks Tris." She mumbles.
We stay back until her tears dry away, then walk back to my locker where Tobias and Will stood there talking.
When Tobias catches a glimpse at me, he turns his attention away from Will and walks up to pull me into a bear hug. I hug back, kissing him on the cheek. Standing on my tip toes, I look over Tobias's shoulder to see Christina and Will up against the lockers kissing. Typical Christina. I smile bright then look Tobias in the eyes.
"I love you, ya know."
He brushes hair stands out of my point if view. "I know. I just hope you think the same." And with that, our lips clash together.
"Get a room!"
We whip our heads around to see Uriah and Zeke standing at the end of the hallway, making faces at us. Tobias flips them off, which makes me laugh really hard.
After sitting around and talking, all four of us decided to go and get milkshakes. We hop into Wills car, and drive off.
