Divergent High

Chapter 9

Sorry it's been so long! I ran out of create ideas, so I've been re reading XD I checkout Insurgent and Allegiant from my library (my brothers fiancé has my books, and a friend has my Divergent copy) and yeah ^.^ Enjoy this chapter!!!

My thoughts linger on Four for the rest of the day. Every time an image of him popped in my head, I started blushing. I loved him. He loved me. It was like heaven just being around him.

"Please take out your novels and read with a partner. Read until chapter sixteen, then report to me." My English teacher states. My eyes follow to where Christina sits, and we give each other funny faces until we finally get together. We read to chapter ten, then take a small break.
"So what happened in the janitors closet at lunch?" Christina asks me, smirking.
"Nothing. I just had to ask him a private question, ad that seemed like the most private place to talk."
"Did you ask him of he was single?" Christina raises her eyebrows up and down. I smack her hand."
"No, I didn't. What about you and Will. You two seem very close to each other.
Christina starts to blush furiously. "N-no! Will and I are just friends! Nothing more!" I start to laugh. "Sure Chrissy. Say what ever makes you happy."
We talk and finally finish the book. I go up to my teachers desk and report that we are done.
"Well done, Beatrice. You and Christina make a wonderful team. You guys were the second ones done, next to Four and Zeke."
I look over to see the two talking, Tobias starting to blush. I must of been blushing myself, because I hear the teacher ask me something. "Do you have a crush on that boy? Four?" She says it sternly, so I snap out of my gaze and look back at her. "No, I don't. We are just friends."
She nods slowly. "Well, you can sit with your partner until the bell rings. I suggest putting your cheeks back to normal. It looks as if someone hit you."
I storm back to my seat and chat with Christina for the rest if the hour.

When I get home from school, I set my stuff down on the couch and go to the kitchen isle to do my math homework.
"To find the area of a circle, take 3.14 • Rsquared. What is the area of a circle with a D of 14?"
I write down my answer just as I get a message from a random person.

Hey Tris! What's up?
Um, who is this?
It's Tobias. I forgot to give you my #, didn't I? Lol!
Haha, you did. So what's up?
I just was wondering if you would like to come hang out with the gang tonight. We are all going to this place, I believe called the Dauntless Diner? They have the best cake!
Thanks Four! Do you mind picking me up? My car is low on oil X.X

I set my phone down, and pick up my books to put them away. I run upstairs and see what's in my closet. 'What would Christina want me to wear?' I look deep in my closet and find a pair of white skinny jeans. I throw them on along with a purple sleeveless shirt and purple Converse. I straiten my hair flat, and add on some make up. I add in a final white headband, when I hear a knock on the door.
"Coming!"
I run back downstairs, and open the door to see Tobias standing there- looking handsome as ever.
"Hey. You look beautiful." He gives me a faint smile. "You ready?"
"Yeah, just let me grab my purse and we can go."
"Okay. I'll be waiting in my car." And he shuts the door as he walks out.

I run up stairs, grab my purse, and head my way to his car. Oh, how much I want him to be mine.
