Blue and Nate sat backstage, waiting for the others to finally get done with makeup and wardrobe. Both were nervous, since this was Blue's second to last performance, and Nate hadn't performed since partway through last year. Somehow, Yo had gotten them to agree to perform for the festival along with the new members of 4F. The originals, minus Suthee and Fang - both politely refused to step foot on the stage again - were set to go on first, then Saint would enter the stage and introduce the new generation of 4F. Unlike his seniors, Saint was excited to dance and sing, eager to show he belonged as part of the second generation. He wanted to prove he deserved to be up on the stage.

And they all knew he really wanted to show off for Win. It was a given. Every time there was a practice, Saint's eyes would follow Win everywhere he went. It was a wonder Saint didn't trip or accidentally kick or smack someone since he was constantly distracted. It got bad enough, Yo threatened Win that he'd be tied to a chair if he didn't stop getting up and moving around the room while the juniors were practicing. Win stopped moving around so much after that.

"What the..." Nate sounded like she was choking on her own breath, staring wide-eyed at something over Blue's shoulder.

Blue twisted in his seat and was as stunned as Nate. Yo was casually strolling towards them without a walker or cane. He was walking all on his own.

"Hey, Blue, Nate," Yo nodded at them in greeting, striding right past them. "Can someone send Saint to find me when he gets here? I want to go over some last minute things with him." He disappeared in one of the back rooms.

"He's walking on his own..." Blue stuttered.

Nate was smiling so widely her face hurt. "I'm really happy for him. And P'Pha. They've been through so much...I'm glad he can walk again."

"Me too," Blue smiled with her. Little Blue was mentally clapping his hands and laughing with joy that his 'mommy' was better.

"Hey, was that Yo??"

Blue and Nate silently nodded at Good's shocked question, still smiling.

Good settled next to Blue on the ground. "Wow. I figured it would take him a while longer to regain the use of his legs. I'm glad I was wrong."
