Yo laughed softly as Love kept cooing at him from the stroller, waving her little fists at him. "Yes, baby, mommy's here. And there's daddy," he turned her stroller so Pha was in her line of sight. "See? There's daddy! Do you want to go to daddy?"

Pha leaned over, gently brushing his knuckles over Love's little cheek, earning another coo from her. "She's so lively today."

Yo smiled, nodding in agreement. He started finishing his porridge while Pha entertained Love by letting her play with his fingers. It was the first time the little family had gone out for breakfast together. Yo was enjoying being out and about with his fiance and baby, and especially enjoying that he was able to walk some without the walker. He was determined to be able to walk on his own as soon as possible. After all, he had a baby to take care of.

"I only have one class today," Pha dragged Yo's attention from the food. "I don't remember if I told you already, but my other two classes got canceled. Due to family emergencies, I think."

"Oh, no," Yo's brow furrowed

"Oh, no," Yo's brow furrowed. "I hope everything's okay."

"Me too. We weren't told the reasons, but..." Pha was troubled. Everybody seemed to be having problems these days.

Love started squirming and whining. Yo took her out of the stroller and draped a nursing blanket over the both of them, undoing the top few buttons so Love could eat. It hadn't occurred to him to be embarrassed about doing that in a public place. Not until he noticed some people glancing at him, and even a couple blatantly staring. He raised his eyebrows at them. Some got flustered and looked away. Others just frowned.

Stupid jerks.

"Something wrong, baby?"

Yo shook his head, smiling brightly at Pha. "Nah. Just thinking."

Pha took a sip of his coffee. "Thinking about what?"

"About-" luckily, Yo didn't have to think up anything, being interrupted by his phone. He carefully pulled it out, trying not to disturb Love, and answered it. "Hello?"

"Hello, this is Sompob, the manager of Sky Apartments. May I please speak to Khun Chaichanatham?"

I told him to call me Yo. "Speaking."

"Khun Chaichanatham, the apartment you asked us to set aside and prepare for your cousin and his fiance is ready. They can move in anytime."

Yo's face lit up, peaking Pha's curiosity. "Really? That's wonderful! I'll tell them right away."

"And I just wanted to confirm the purchases."

"Yes, are they there?"

"Most are, Khun. The table, new fridge, one of the couches, and even the cribs."

"What about the bathrooms?" Yo questioned, slightly shifting in his seat. He was going to have to switch Love to the other side soon. Thank Buddha the cookies and domperidone have finally kicked in!
