the morning before that stupid lesson

The next morning started just like the last.

My vision blurred and I thought about puking again.

But I hold it back. Instead I got up, dressed and wobbled down the stairs.

" Morning Marry.", I said kindly, clearing my voice.

" Good morning, young Mister. Would you like to have breakfast or should I pack it for you? ", she asked.

I smiled. " Could you maybe make me a glass orange juice? And pack a bit toast without anything, please? ", I responded.

She looked at me with kind but sad eyes. " Is it this bad? "

I shrugged. " Please, no word to my mother. I don't want her to worry. "

She smiled at me. " You're too kind. Of course, I know nothing. "

I smiled back and drowned the juice.

I had to eat or drink something and when I was this bad, orange juice was a good help in need.

I packed my bag and stormed out of the house.
Why do I always have to be late? , I asked myself while I was driving to school.

I ran into the building and made it into our classroom just before the teacher.

Mr. Veltic started his class in time and ended with the bell.

It was interesting, really and with every minute I forgot more about the last day.

Behind me I heard someone yawn and turning around I looked into Hayley's dark blue eyes.

" Tired? ", I asked. " Too much party yesterday? "

It was mean, I know that,  but it was just so funny to see her eyes furow and her stare coolen.

" Judging the bags under your eyes you had to much party and alk too.", she responded coldly. " Is that the reason why you honored us with your absence yesterday? "

I shoot her a really angry stare.

" You know nothing. ", I hissed.

She smiled devil like. "So do you. Now, would you please turn around and get your visage out of my vision?  I would actually like to have breakfast today!", she said and unpacked her lunch.

Sighing I turned around again and started to talk with my boys about what gossip I missed yesterday.

They did not ask about my absence, they never did. It was normal for me to not appear in school about once every two weeks and they would just close their eyes and forget it.

" Seems like nothing happened yesterday. ",  Jason said and punched my back.

" Who meets me at the smoking point? "

" Hey!  That's still my quote! ", I growled and got up.

The break was funny but boring as ever and I wasn't that sad hearing the bell ring to call for the next few periods.

Had I known what our teacher prepared for the lesson,  I would have wished for the break to never end.
