Hayley's point of view

It really was an incredible nice morning.
As soon as we were at the schoolyard, the gape between us grew bigger and he became more quiet, but we still walked into our room together.

At lunch it was the two of us again.
" Hungry? ", he asked, sitting down at the bottom of the tree like he did the last days.

I had forgotten to pack lunch for me, like almost every day, and only the sight of Nick's sandwich made my stomach crinkle of hunger.

" I would offer you a bit, but it's salami and tuna and as far as I'm concerned you're refusing to eat both of it. ", he said smiling brightly.

" As if I would take anything you offer me! ", I joked.

He laughed and slapped me in a friendly way.

Strange - why did my stomach suddenly feel so light? Like there were little motts flattering around inside. He only touched my shoulders!

Earlier that night he had been touching me even much more. My cheeks went bright red. Even in our one year dating time he had never really slept over.

"What are you smiling about so creepily? ", Nick asked and my face felt like a boiled tomato.

" N-nothing. J-Just leave me alone. ", I stumbled and he laughed again.

You have to know; Nick had by far the cutest and best laugh I have ever heard. It was deep, not to loud, and I had always loved the way his chest rumbled whenever he laughed.

The lunch break was over way to fast and I had to return to my room, still hungry.

But although I had to expect two hours of complete boredom in my PR class, I could not help but smile when I found a little package thrown at my desk when I was about to fall asleep.

The package contained a incredibly nice smelling bread with some kind of vegetarian paste, an apple and a pickup.

I could not resist but smile again while I was slowly eating the bread during the lesson.

" Miss Sleepy! " It took me some time to realize that the teacher in front of me was yelling at me.

" Sorry. I was out of my mind. ", I apologized.

" To the blackboard. Now."

We were already having maths, the last lesson, and slowly but steadily the lack of sleep and the worry about Ian did there job and made me extremely exhausted.

To the blackboard. Yeah, sure. Why not.

I stood there and stared at the scribbling of our teacher. Something about 'what number is x' and 'divide through itself '.

I looked at the teacher. Was he kidding me? I had done exercises like this two years ago.

It look me not more than one minute to fill the whole board with explanations.

" Done. X is 3,5. ", I said and went back to my seat.

" Great! Absolutely amazing! I did not expect this. ", the teacher said and I shot him an angry stare.

Who did he think he was? I was not daft, fucking hell.

But I said nothing and watched Nick stand up, write something on the board and sit down again.

I could not resist but rise my hand.
"You forgot to divide the numbers in the blanks with each other. If you consider this, X is 5, not 8.", I said a bit smug.

The look he shot me was deadly and I smirked apologetic.

" Could not resist, sorry. ", I whispered.

He shock his head and blinked once.

After the lesson I packed my things and ran off.

The bus came two minutes before I came to the station.

I saw Nick getting into his car and sighed.

When I heard a car stop beside me, I was afraid to look up in order to see somebody I did not want to meet.

"I'm waiting exactly one minute. Get into it our let it be. ", Nick laughed.

" I have to pick my brother. ", I said.

" Get into the car, it's cold outside! ", he laughed. " I'm getting him as well. "
And again this day, I could not stop myself from smiling.
