koshi sugawara x female reader theatre au
i don't know too much about volleyball , but i do know about theatre, so that's what i'll write about :)

not many people at y/n's junior high were all that passionate about theatre, it was her, two other people her age, and one boy who was two years younger than her, the two people her age moved out of the miyagi prefecture for some reason. she thought she only got large roles because she was one of the few who cared about theatre, but now at high school, she's starting to think she actually deserves the roles she gets.
"great, that'll be 1600¥" suga pays for their ice cream and he, daichi, and y/n all sit down together
"so... what junior high did you go to?" suga asks, trying to start a conversation.
"izumitate junior high," daichi answers
"yukigaoka," y/n answers
"nice, i went to nagamushi. i thought our shows were pretty good,"
"ours were pretty good too,"
"ours could've been a lot better, i was one of four who took it seriously. if others cared more then maybe we could've been a lot better," the girl sighs
"do you have any videos? i'm sorry if i say something mean," suga says, y/n nods pulling up a video from her last performance, the boys huddle around her to watch
"i have so many critiques that i don't know if i should say them," daichi sighed
"no no please say them," y/n said, hoping they would share the same views
"troy, gabriella, sharpay and ryan really stood out, not only because they're the leads, but because they actually had energy, is that ensemble even alive?" daichi said
"i'm sure 75% of them only did it because they watched the movie," y/n groaned, "i think some of them didn't even do the choreography"
"let me see it again," suga took the phone from her, "did the kid playing ryan just step on you?"
"oh yeah, he did that a lot. he told me he was gonna work hard on his choreography after the show ended," she smiled, she was glad she had a friend who loved the same things she did, and she was glad that she now has more friends like that, "he also had a few voice cracks every now and then,"
"daichi, you saw guys and dolls, right?" suga asked as he remembered something
"yeah, why?"
"was it the saturday evening performance?"
"no," daichi was confused of suga's sudden excitement
