i don't know too much about volleyball , but i do know about theatre, so that's what i'll write about :)

y/n and suga waited outside of the school for the aoba johsai students who got called back, specifically oikawa and iwaizumi. the duo stood up once they saw a group of students in school uniforms get off a bus, and two first years running towards them. well, one running grabbing the other's wrist.
"y/n! suga! you guys ready?" oikawa asked once they caught up to them
"i'd say so, i was only called back for three roles," y/n shrugged, in reality, she was incredibly nervous for some reason
"yeah, i was called back for two," iwaizumi said
"okay, but you were called back for a pretty big role," suga pointed out
"well so were you!" oikawa basically shouted, "multiple large roles,"
"callbacks should start soon, let's not hold anything up," iwaizumi dragged oikawa into the auditorium with y/n and suga following behind.
"before we start our callbacks, i would like to introduce you to someone. many of you know, or only a few of you know, that i am retiring this year. this is ittetsu takeda. karasuno, he will be your director next year, and hopefully years after. he will be running the callback and he does have a say in casting so please be nice and welcome him" karasuno's director announced, mr takeda nervously waved, "now let's begin. callbacks will be similar to auditions, we will call you in by role and we will give you lines to read and an excerpt from a song, for flotsam and jetsam there will be some choreography," oikawa's eyes lit up knowing the role he wanted possibly had heavy choreography, with him being a strong dancer, "with that, those called back for ariel come to the stage, everyone else, grab the materials you need and head to the hallway,"
"this show is going to be so fun, i'm calling it," oikawa smiled, walking into the hallway after they grabbed what they needed
"definitely," suga agreed. y/n immediately sat down and studied the lines and sheet music. the boys could easily tell that she was nervous. after a few minutes, oikawa sat close next to her
"hey, y/n, you've got this. i've seen you perform, you don't have to be nervous," oikawa tried to calm down her nerves
"thanks toru," she didn't take her eyes off the paper
"suga, say something, you somehow get her mind off things," he stood up and whispered loudly after his failed attempt to make y/n less nervous, suga nodded and sat next to her, putting a hand on her shoulder
"l/n?" he softly asked
"yeah suga?" her eyes still on the paper
"you really are an incredible actress, this callback is going to be amazing. i've seen all of your auditions this year and they never failed to impress me. this isn't going to be any different. i'll wait for you so you can tell me about your other callbacks," suga's words left his mouth without thinking about them, he shared what he genuinely thought.
