i don't know too much about volleyball , but i do know about theatre, so that's what i'll write about :)

"holy shit," y/n said
"holy shit indeed," daichi laughed
"what the hell, already our last summer musical audition?"
"and we somehow got the rights to natasha, pierre, and the great comet of 1812,"
that was confusing to the cast, maybe it was because they now had the numbers, started to become well known, and now has a choreographer that is not part of the cast, they can take that risk
"don't get emotional today, please," daichi told her, "save that for the spring,"
"man, the spring is going to be here so soon,"
"y/n... you're getting emotional already," he pointed out
"sorry, dad,"
"and of course, you're still doing that," he shook his head at her comment
"we never stopped," she smiled at him
"suga?"
"suga." she nodded, "i'm really looking forward to auditions actually, i know four of the first years we're getting are incredibly talented, i'm sure there will be others,"
"yeah, i hope we don't scare them too much," daichi laughed
"i think asahi's gonna scare the small ones, but koshi's gonna scare everyone once people get to know him, and you're gonna scare people because of you authority,"
"and what about you and kiyoko?"
"they're in theatre, they should know better than to make their stage manager mad, but if they do, then she'll scare them. and for me, i guess the same as koshi,"
"figured," daichi nodded as they approached to their school, "well, you go talk to your first year, i'm sure he's nervous. i'll meet you in class,"
"alright, see you in a few," she then headed to class 1-1
"y/n, what are you doing here?" shoyo asked when she walked in the hallway
"hey, i just wanted to check on you, see how you're doing,"
"well, to be honest, i'm nervous as shit. i don't think there are any roles for me this show,"
"and that's alright, ensemble is a great time, you're going to do great. takeda knows you, he's seen you grow, and he knows you can do anything. you have nothing to worry about, you're already in," she assured him, "theatre's fun whether you're ensemble, named role, or in crew, you're going to do amazing,"
"hinata, let's go," kageyama yelled
she remembers that guy, how could she forget. incredibly talented with a stick up his ass.
"excuse me?" a timid voice asked
"uh, me?" y/n said
"yeah, um, i heard you talking about theatre and i was wondering, is the assistant stage manager position open?" she asked
