"it's crazy how time flew," daichi sighed while walking to school with y/n
"i know, i can't believe it's been a year," y/n said
"first year was fun, i hope the rest are similar, but not too similar,"
"yeah, i get what you mean. do you have any ideas what the fall show might be? i heard it was gonna be geared towards a younger audience,"
"no idea, but i'm sure it'll be fun no matter what,"
"definitely, i'm really excited,"
"so it might be too soon to decide, but what are your plans for after high school?" daichi asked
"i definitely want to go into theatre, i want to go to the same school tamia goes to, but i'm sure there are other great schools for musical theatre. what about you, have you decided yet?"
"yeah, i'm gonna go to miyagi community college for law enforcement,"
"oh cool, so what were you up to during break other than when we hung out?"
"well there was all us second years hanging out, spent most of it with yui, occasionally hung out with suga or asahi,"
"yeah, i spent most of it with him, just watching movies, mom taught us how to make mac n cheese, toru also was there for that. if i wasn't hanging out with koshi, i was hanging out with toru, or alone but that's fine, it was fun,"
"that's good,"
"show's being announced after school?"
"most likely... wait are you and suga finally dating?"
"no, but i do like him,"
"it's about time you admitted it, there's been something going on between you two since you met,"
"i admitted it during little mermaid,"
"still,"
the two finally got to their class, 2-4, and looked for a familiar face
"y/n! daichi!"
"koshi! i just saw you yesterday!"
"hey suga,"
"did you check the bulletin board, show's been announced,"
"already?" daichi asked in shock
"well, class is gonna start in fifteen minutes so you have time to go look,"
daichi and y/n exchanged looks and quickly left the classroom
"asahi! suga told us that the musical was announced!" daichi shouted when they saw him
"really?" asahi asked and followed the duo to the bulletin board by the auditorium
"james and the giant peach... well the rumor was that it would be geared towards younger audiences," daichi read
