"you think that teru-shitta guy's gonna show up to one of our shows?" iwa asked, recalling the weird guy who hit on every girl just for attention
"what's up with you and putting the word 'shit' in everyone's last names?" oikawa asked
"i don't know, it just feels right," iwa shrugged
"okay, whatever you say," oikawa laughed
"he's either not going to show up because he's salty, or he's going to show up to flirt with anyone," suga said
"yeah, that makes sense," y/n nodded
"on another note, it's tech week already," ushijima said
"y/n's house before opening night?" tendo asked
"absolutely, my mom misses you all," y/n smiled
"even me?" koshi asked jokingly
"she loves you more than she loves me, it won't surprise me if she does," y/n said
"yeah, i'm also her favorite child," oikawa nodded
"my mother did not adopt you, toru,"
"you're just jealous," toru stated
"so this friday after school?" ushijima asked, ignoring their bantering
"yep," y/n answered
"what show is shiratorizawa doing?" iwa asked ushijima and tendo
"didn't we already tell you we're doing cinderella?" ushijima answered
"oh right, you did! that's going to be so good!" y/n beamed
"yeah, i'm excited. you said you guys are doing seussical, right?" tendo asked
"yep, we are!" suga told him, "yeah, i'm pretty sure we already told each other what shows we're doing in the spring,"
"i'm looking forward to seeing it," ushijima said, even after a year he is still so serious and straightforward, it doesn't mean they love him any less though
"and we most definitely won't miss yours," oikawa threw up a peace sign as he usually does
"thank you, oikawa," ushijima said with a straight face
"we ready for this week?" y/n asked the others, who all responded with unsure answers
"we'll do great, it's just... tech week," oikawa said
"have we settled the issue with makeup wipes?" tendo asked
"cleansing balms. i think i've said that multiple times," y/n told him
"you have," ushijima confirmed
"oh," was all tendo replied with
"have we ignored this entire show that y/n's first kiss was a gay man?" oikawa asked
